Playing Reborn for past 3 years and it is my first experince of the game.I cant say somethin really bad about the server.Core community that is from start of server are nice .People helping each other.Good pvp amount on events.With change of expansion I belive will be even better. Hard to stop playin for me .
I'd be curious to try a private server of this, but I've never touched this game in my life, so I need more of a newbie guide than a "it's been a while and you wanna scratch that itch" guide. Like I don't even know what dual boxing is or why it's even bad.
It's just where you play 2 chars at the same time. So you could have a healer on auto follow behind you, just for an example. People say it's bad because you don't always need a support class in party if you can have one join and buff and leave.

@@UltimaKeyMaster It's really easy if you know what you are doing, you play in 2 windows and just alt tab, setup macros in game to target your char and the heal /buff. Takes seconds.

Moreover to me the best experience was on Reborn currently it is on the Hellbound chronicle and I am really liking it it is the best server and it also has a respectful number of players at the moment, and at last it is a truly fair experience. Biggest Reborn problem is Players banning GM, especially Nikita, even that we agreed, that me and my wife will play together, on the same internet, but 2 different pc/computers, we still got banned, with no real evidence or proof for dual box, avoid unless u want to get banned also.... And RMT exist in Reborn. There is Amazing players who play there L2, but server manegment is poor..
You gave me the answer I was looking for. I am a return player trying to start a good server with my wife now and apparently I will get banned for doing so. This no dual box is such a deal breaker for serious players. At least they could make it like 2 boxes only. We are a group of 4 serious players and apparently we can’t start this one. @@Petroxeilos1 I have been playing on/off lineage 2 since 2008 and tons of servers, this server is the true experience,and first time i see a private server way more populated than the official server(which i played for 8 years).L2 Reborn is the closest you gonna get to a fair server,there are 0 bots,0 dual boxes,everyone needs everyone and party search is always full of parties.Yes there is RMT sadly( top clans selling adena to low players through sites) but you cannot fight that,there is RMT in all MMOS.Thing is,it hardly makes a difference because for endgame gear like epic jewels, you need 4 billion adena which is more than 4000$, and i dont think many people are willing to drop such amounts in a private server.I believe you should try reborn origins x1,i have been playing 2 years and for first time i feel i experience the game as it should be.

If you have 3-4 active constant party people in a 7-8 party size game of course you're going to have them as active main classes like tank/heal/damage dealers and leave the buffs to characters that are boxed.

So 9 active characters will likely win against a party with boxed characters.
This server is cool cept for a GM named Nikita with an OP ban trigger. she has huge mood swings and will ban just to keep her butt kissing friends happy. server would be amazing if this moodswinger was not a part of it

@@DJ_Kie You will know once you hit 60+ S gears will perma PK in 40-50 lvl zones, if u kill someone, be ready cuz S gear is gonna relog next to you, or they gonna call couple S grades from clan and hunt you and won't let you farm for the most part of the day xd So enjoyable, server is nowhere near new player friendly
Sometimes this happened on some of servers I played. Custom code can bring false positives. Also on some of them guidelines stated that it is better to create exception. Unless you have confirmation of what specific virus that was and that it is actual keylogger/trojan etc. This is typical for L2 clients that have additional protection
does the essence version have autoplay? cause to me grinding on this kind of game is boring, really boring. (i did already play one of their versions a bit, but got bored, god knows when)

Because it discourages people to play those classes actively. And having those classes populated by active players makes the game more diverse.
