When the bunch sprint was launched, Van Gils was still far at the back and at high risk of becoming boxed in. It almost seemed impossible to win from this position. What a clever and strong sprint by Van Gils!

That has always been the essence of the Lotto, to encourage races. Van Gils and Lennert van Eetvelt had a great start to the season, it's a shame they were not invited to the Giro. Aramburu had the energy to get angry, he lacked confidence. Movistar must have a lot of pressure because they haven't won this season. Subject that I don't care about
