The two things I cannot get over:
1. She coulda walked away with 10k with little damage done.
but the bigger one is
2. Did she not take a polygraph previous to the taping of the show? That's what's matching her answers. Like she answered all of these questions before, knew they were coming, and STILL chose to do the show. That's wild.
Wow I didn’t really think about it that way. She must have went in agreeing to split with her husband for money, which I suppose is not surprising since she admits to not caring for him
I thought about this as well, and maybe they just ask the questions and register what the polygraph says without telling them what it said?
the producer said that she told him she would tell the whole truth take the money and leave her husband (they agreed to split the money, and their marriage was already falling apart) when he asked her if she is going back to her ex ( because he knew she still love him from the polygraph test) she said no!

I know this is old, but of anyone is interested in what happened after the show:
Lauren Cleri admitted to committing adultry, and that she believes she should be married to her ex boyfriend instead of her husband. She lost everything on the "Do you think you're a good person?" question. Her husband, a New York City cop, actually already knew about the cheating, but they decided not to tell any family or friends. So she was outed on the show. Lauren claimed after the show, she wanted to stay with her husband and not the ex. In May 2008 Frank Cleri filed for divorce after discovering she had been, and was continuing, cheating with her ex boyfriend along with severel other men, sometimes multiple men at once. She turned out to be a serial cheater before and after the show aired.
Kinda phenomenal finding out that the question about keeping in contact with exes was true only because the husband DID know about the contact
she dated her ex when they were studying acting together and left him bc he had no money, her regrets were based on the fact that he landed a secure position at Zakura theatre and became financially stable while her fiancee was a newbie at NYPD. Frank remarried with kids and advanced policeman career, and Frank the ex boyfriend is an accomplished Theatre actor with leading roles.

this was so accurate
It's like Fifteen Million Merits if it wasn't a talent show. I think they intentionally fucked her over with the 'are you a good person?' question. She probably was telling the truth but they were just like 'we're not giving her any money'.
I wish she had answered that truthfully because as hard as it was to watch her husband completely crumble, I want to know what questions could be worse than the ones already asked. I do vaguely remember this episode and honestly, I don't think I watched the show after it.
No way she’d say yes and make herself look even worse after everything everyone’s just learnt. She either fully believed it but subconsciously didn’t, the line detector was wrong (not very accurate anyhow), or the producers did that. Most likely the latter

UNLESS i was shown the homeless person and they just looked regular, not psycho.

You just described my whole life
exactly
Was just about to comment this has big "what's that name?" energy
So she's committed crimes before, emotionally and physically cheated on her husband, LIES to herself thinking she's still a good person AND didn't get any money outta that??
no bc that’s gen so funny to me since she ruined everything and lost everything and don’t even get any money from it
That's some good ol' Karma for ya
She probably got some money because this is TV and possibly got a certain amount for appearing on the show
No it hurts it rlly does ITS SO BAD
😂😂
OMG, I remember watching this show on TV with my family when I was a bit younger. I always wondered if they chose people with so much drama on purpose and I'm pretty sure that's what they did
y'all's room is really pretty, i like the shelves and stuff :)
Cody exposing himself for not watching Noel’s temptation island vids by not knowing who Mark walburg is...
To be fair its Mark L Walburg
I’ve been searching for this comment lol
And he's evil on that show too ahaha
@@_nicola_8780 stop mark is an angel
exactly what i was thinking
"Have you ever committed a hit, and run while on cocaine?"
"Yes".
Audience applaudes.
but at least she’s come to terms with it…
@@sophie5967 lmao
Jon jones: the other driver was pregnant as well.
Audience: *roaring applause*
“we’ve had this discussion before” in response to “are you proud of your daughter?” and not “yes of course” is so telling
the evolution from this video to cody actually being friends with mark is hilarious
