Awesome looking Lights!!! I'd agree, they definitely need a Flood beam lens on the low. Other than that, they really update the look and performance of the halogens
I have tried the LED bulbs in my 400ex, and they honestly suck.. So, i just modified some actual car LED H11's into the bike and it blew my mind. But, i also run a set of LED fog lights for the wide range view, there isnt a quad ive ridden that had a good wide view headlight setup. I think the best ones were the old warrior square ones, they had about the widest view of all the bikes ive had, but now that we have these new low power led light bars and fog light kits that dont put a strain on our stators, and they are super cheap, its almost a no brainer for night riding to just stuff an 8" bar or a set of led work lights on it. Like night and day compared to any factory quad lighting. Those look really rad on the 450, just add you a small bar or some fogs and it will look like your lighting up half of the damn woods. Its awesome. (Just not awesome to people who are riding towards you LOL)
I would love to get my own yfz but I don't have much money. Any tips on finding cheap or broken race quads? Like under 3k probably. I would really appreciate it
I wouldn't look for used race quads or broken race quads honestly. Most of them are alot of trail fixes and those don't last long so you'll find alot of gremlins as you ride more. To start I'd find a 400ex or ypu can finance a brand new yfz and put down $2,000 and then have a monthly payment of like $200
@@BrewerOffroad sounds awesome! I never ride at night so they would be more for looks and daytime running lights in situations. It would be great if they improved the width of the beam! 👌
I had to trace down a wire and tap into it. The company includes that in the instructions now. They have great communication and will help with any technical issues!
@@BrewerOffroad the housing is designed for halogen flood lights. those led side lights are blocked by the housing.they wouldnt even sell a light that shitty and say its an improvement.Driving in the dark with them like that is scary asf lol
From the viewer point watching this I'm going to say I'm not impressed with the lack of broad light. I have not seen you ride at night with stock light though which would have given viewers a side by side comparison if you had done both. If you have ridden at night send me a link to that video please so I can see both lights.
My buddy finally convinced me to sell my YZ 250 and get a YFZ. Love these videos to keep me happy till I can get one of my own!
Glad to see you’re back! Been needing a video like this to get back back on the grind to a new yfz of my own
Glad to be back!

Yeah I might work with them on it!
Glad you back!
Thanks!
I just installed these in my 2022 raptor 700r. They look killer! More side light would be really nice. Sweet vid 👍🏼

i know just led bulbs help alot compared to stock :) its the easy way without putting a light bar on :)
but damn those lights loook SICK
Good to see you back man.
Thanks man! Life's been wild

I'm glad to see another new video. I was starting to think that you killed yourself on the 350X!
Haha thats scary haha life's been crazy ill explain soon!
gotta get you a small light aimed down for night riding, so when you aim high with the front end the ground is still lit up.
Definitely going to try and perfect the night riding
It looks wild without the front plastic
We need more vids keep up the good work.
ThanksA
An HID kit will have a similar pattern as stock but with more light output
It’s because the running lights weren’t on or wired up they would look way more spread out if you wire them up to a fuse or switch
Where did you end up wiring the drl lights?
I will own a yfz450r of my own. My girlfriend does have one and she said I can ride it when I come over so that pretty cool. Need one of my own tho
I missed ur vids man.😁
Life's been wild video coming out soon to explain itA
How did you get running lights going? What wire did you tap in to?
No motion sickness but yea that was definitely a sign to stop riding lol
Yeah haha

Did you ever change the clutch basket to the older models heard that they explode
Yeah I used the 2009 model clutch basket

I don't think u were supposed to put the bezels on them might pull em off see if it makes any difference
I'll definitely give it a shot 🤘
Are they better then stock output wise or do they just look better?
Definitely a better look, I think distance is better spread is comparable after I corrected the hook up
Where ya been man I missed the vids

@@BrewerOffroad your good I just missed the content
how did you end up turning on the side lights?
I had to trace down a wire and tap into it. The company includes that in the instructions now. They have great communication and will help with any technical issues!
I dont think you were supposed to put the factory housing back on.thats why there is no side lighting
I'll try it and see if it works but the beams look directional from with in the headlight housing itself 🤷♂️
