  • More than 10 years ago, groups of individuals from various coastal villages in the Arosi district of San Cristobal Island (Solomon Islands), left their homes, properties, jobs and even some immediate family members and moved inland, up into the mountains, to form a community that is now known to the Makira people as “the Platform”.
This video (of 13/5/2020) shows how they enthrone their chiefly leaders.

i believe the gathering involved members from Ulawa, Wainoni, and the other areas having this group. So they might have contributed ideas to put together the program.

Please my people in makira, specifically this platform form group, let's not decieve God's glory (culture). If you claim that you're living in the culture of God,you must dressed modesty , that's what it mention in the book of Duetronomy .However, not only that, but also it really funny to hear from the introductory of this clip that these people don't want to get medicine from the clinic once they get sick. Hey! haven't you read the story in the bible about the good Samaritan and the victim lying on the road. The bible said that he (good sumaritian) took the man and brought him to the inn ( clinic) for treatment ,so why ignore clinic? Furthermore,if you are following the culture of God,you must be a new being (man),the old has gone and the new has come( 1 Corinthian 5:17),not only that, but also light and dark cannot go together (Amos.3:1-3). Please the platform leader. I t's time to revisit your principles and do not mislead God's people and selfishly look for firm ,but instead seek God for direction.Sir,I am writing this note ,not because I hurt you but because I want to save your soul and the souls of others that are currently following your doctrines.More especially the older ones that I witnessed in this clip. Please quick make a U-turn.As I can see that many of these old men are now ready to giving up their ghost, meaning they are in the time line that God or satan is about to hand pick them. What will you (platform leader) say for the life of those you mislead if you stand in front of the God almighty during the time of your judgement? Anyway, the answer is up to you,but it is my prayer that this evil spirit that goes behind this platform movement I break it in the mighty name of my Lord and my saviour Jesus Christ and the power of my mentor the Holy Spirit.I break the throne, the crown, and the altars of the kingdom of darkness that remoting this Platform movement.whatever red sea or Jericho wall that stands in front of this movement .I break it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thus all knees shall bow and all tongues shall confess that Jesus is lord. Finally, thank you very much my brethen in the Lord Jesus Christ for up loading this clip.It gives me the clear understanding of what this group is and how I will pray for them.

That is the looming issue here; resource fast depleting because both them and the coastal residents access the same resources (coconut, nut, sago palm, gardening areas) and the affecting of environmental/ecological aspect of these occupied areas. Waimarae river is now susceptible to ecological degradation

The bit that I can understand are those that i transcribed as subtitles. The rest, i do not understand, even though I speak Arosi 1 language; the language of the area.
Traditional Orations do qualify for ambiguity as only a few people learn these (esp for traditional events as such). But i heard they have also modified the ordinary arosi conversational language.
