These look awesome! I’ve never heard of gel crayons before but they’re very vibrant always a nice sight when coloring to have something bright and vibrant. I like that on your channel you review a variety of products in different price ranges. Your videos are filmed well and you discuss your thoughts on the products thoroughly
I do like gel crayons for easy backgrounds and you really don't have to go expensive, especially for adult coloring.
I'm not huge on gel crayon 'cause they usually wear down fast and the actual crayon part is short, but these don't seem bad. I also like how you review things, you don't push the more expensive stuff if you can get similar quality
I try to review the entire spectrum from kids to budget friendly to artist grade just to see what works out.

@@ColorfullyOptimistic Yes I love them! I'm not a pro artist or anything so they're just for sketchbook fun or coloring books. Sadly I haven't been coloring much lately.
I'm always looking for ways to make easier backgrounds. I feel like it takes so long to build up watercolors sometimes. With the blending brush, I think they might help an easy blurred effect. What do you think?
I use these with a brush to create backgrounds (gel crayons in general) and they work out really nice.

It's hard to say completely different, because there are some overlapping colors if you have the entire set of KingArt, but the way they brush out is a little different.
These aren't so bad.. had them in my wishlist for a minute.

I just purchased the King Art 72 set and I love them. 😂 I didn’t know why they included a white crayon. Now I do. 🙄
There are a few uses for the white -- I mean you can use it on black paper too, which they often intend for these when using them in a more art-based application instead of just adult coloring. Either way, great results for a budget set.
Could you tell me more about your palette? Does it have a rough texture?

Im so excited for this series! I love gel crayons for backgrounds, but only have gelatos.
Question: have you had much luck using gel crayons with stencils? Or is it better to use distress ink or soft pastels for that purpose?
Gel crayons work fine with stencils, BUT then you have another item you have to clean...so that's the one downside for me.
