I might have to watch this at some point. I’m a big LNER fan and I like Flying Scotsman; this is probably the part of the loco’s history I’ve heard the least people talking about. The stunt work is pretty impressive too, especially when considering that all of it was done for real.

No idea why the always put Ray Milland as the star, It was Moore Marriott in his day and Milland his understudy in many films of that time, old Harbottle from the Will Hay's films. To promote the Flying Scotsman Moore was trained by the lead engine driver and completed the London - Edinburgh run at the controls... 9 Years later Moore was again in charge of a train this time it was Gladstone in Oh Mr Porter

+FNAF Toy Bonnie is the best! Yep, same locomotive. It's number changed over the years. Great Northern Railway 1472, London North Eastern Railway 4472, 502 & 103 then finally British Railways 60103.
