Yes, you would simply right-click on the family in the Project Browser and save it as an RFA or select the Family, click on the Edit Family button and in the Family Editor you would then save the family to your library. HTH

Thank you for this tutorial. Is there any way to save that family that is now Face based for future use without having to go through all of these steps?
    Thank you!!

I just download an BIM model for an LC&D panel, but it not a hosted object currently. How can i make this a wall host object?

Unfortunately, conversion of a family from a non-hosted object to a wall hosted object is not possible, to my knowledge. Typically, you'll want any sort of MEP family to be face-hosted anyway as the panel would stick around even if the Architect deletes the linked model's host wall.
