Can I use in the Android Tv running on Android 9?
Works great, only thing i noticed is that my CZcams dedicated button, is no longer working, yet when i enable back the stock launcher it comes back, anyone else ?
@@amineelsemine9564 Same. Not an issue for me, though. I rarely use shortcut buttons to apps.

Got my father a Chromecast for his birthday a few days ago. I just saw your video with the button mapper method and read the comment about the auto launcher releasing today.
The stock launcher interface is a bit confusing for my father, it needs to be as simple and clean as possible (he's in his 70s now). Going to install this in the next days, i'm sure he'll love it. Thank you so much!

Great tutorial, Doc. Installed easy on my new CCWGTV. Just playing with the settings etc now. One thing I was hoping for that I'm not seeing is.... Suggested movies etc from my installed apps (like the stock launcher) but without the suggested programs from services I don't use. I thought that was an option with a new launcher like this, but I'm not seeing it. I'll keep looking!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for you're launcher as you might not believe this but iptv with stb emu on the regular launcher doesn't work correctly constantly jumps and stops playing streams think with the Google launcher there's too much going on in the background but with yours no issues at all I've tested both and only yours works thanks for your work

Hey, did you buy the Google TV stick and can not find the typical Google Play Movie library view? In order to get that view, where you can browse and search through movie genres etc. just push the assistent button on the Google TV remote and say: "Open Google Play Movies". Thats it!
Great video as always. Thank you. Its a shame Google isn't discounting its Chromecast like Amazon does with their own device's. I would prefer a Chromecast but I can currently pick up x2 4K Firesticks for the same price. 👍🏻

Hey, the luncher is very cool, but i just can't get widgets to work (did the steps with remote adb but is not working for me) and when I make wolf luncher default it isn't working anymore. Sometimes the app grid stays empty and when it loads the grid I can't select anything. Is there a fix for it? Running latest Google TV.

Having trouble with blackscreen on chromecast with google tv when I loaded wolf launcher and launch manager. Any advice on how to fix this issue without having to factory reset??
The mic from the remote for CCwGTV isn't working when I use Wolf Launcher. It shows up as recognizing but doesn't find the show. (i.e. searching for "Friends" doesn't do anything when it's available on Netflix). Any help is appreciated.

Lol, you don't need to use launcher Manager of you don't want you. You can just enter in 2 ADB commands instead. 3rd party apps like button mapper I meant.
I'm thinking about getting this new chromecast,but before i do could you tell if on this we have the same problem as on other android tv devices where when you connect Bluetooth headphones Netflix wont stream in 4K? Thanks

I was able to get the wallpaper and widget loaded. As far as the widget is concerned, the widget initially shows the correct temperature, but then afterwards never updates. The time does update. I'm not sure about the rest, such as wind and humidity. Do you have a fix for this or have another widget that actually works?

for some reason i turned on chrome cast after not using it for a week and all side loads just disapeared,it said system was corrupt to reset to factory settings,dont know why this happened,your thoughts?

Hello TechDoctor, i've tried the Launcher Manager on the Tivo and i've had no luck. It works on my Google chromecast but on the Tivo it just doesn't work

Hmm....AFB command didn’t seem to allow widgets. I enabled ADB and debugging. I installed the weather widget before I tried to enable the widget via command line. Any help would be appreciate it. Also, I don’t see any Settings, like what we see in standard launcher.

Yes, 4K firestick = 1.5GB ram , Chromecast = 2GB ram.

Any idea how to change the DNS on the chromecast? Even if it has the option to do it, after I change it, it goes back automatically to the Google DNS 8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4

Hi TechDoctorUK, I have a request for Wolf Launcher...I really hate the color of the folder when u click into it...The app is so customizable except that. Is it possible that that can be changed to match the colors in the Shield settings menu? Maybe even allow us to pick any color we want?
Further, maybe we can skip that altogether and make it so it opens to a whole page where we can set a color or a wallpaper, or at least those options as it is now. It just doesn't asthetically flow with the rest of the customizations.
And since I'm asking, can we have the option to have a folder name on or below the folder? I'd prefer to have it under and a clean image on the folder.

TechDoctorUK I couldn’t get any of the VMapps to work then I stumbled on a video which mentioned using a FTV remote with VMapp or USB C hub. I tried a hub and it worked. I purchased the USB C hub after watching your previous video. The one you linked to isn’t available on amazon in the US. The one I purchased didn’t work with Ethernet which was my primary reason for purchase so I ended up using it with my iPad Pro. Thanks for the great videos. I’ve learned a lot from you. You’ve supercharged my FTV4K and now CCGTV. Cheers mate, as they say on your side of the pond.
