This is my favorite episode of MGAFS ever. You can just *feel* the energy of Eclipse desperately trying *not* to strangle Puppet, especially the second time he puts his hand around his shoulders.
I love how it's just become a known fact that Eclipse is lonely- I can't tell if at this point he approached Puppet because he wanted a friend or just because Puppet has something that he wants or a combination. Given the fact that Eclipse has socialized with people in the past just because he was bored and lonely, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here too.

That doesn't however mean that Eclipse cannot 1. Prevent Lunar from being fully repaired, or even destroy Lunar in front of Monty or someone close to Lunar again after they thought that he had survived. 2. Use the star to force Lunar to like Eclipse again. Luckily, the second option is highly unlikely since Eclipse can only use the star a few more times before it does permanent damage to him, and although we like to poke fun at Eclipse and say that he's dumb or not as smart as he thinks he is, he more so lets his spite get in the way of logic and therefore willingly and knowingly does dumb things, however he's not *that* impulsive and genuinely stupid to risk permanent damage to himself just to make Lunar love him again- It least I hope not as it would make him a less intimidating and interesting villain if we just viewed him as merely stupid and not a threat. As for the first option though- I'm afraid that it's much more plausible then we'd like to imagine. As for Eclipse possibly using a virus to manipulate Lunar- I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility, however I'm not sure if he'd go through the time and effort to make a virus to make people like him- ... Actually that sounds completely in his character since he used the star to do that exact thing, I wouldn't be surprised if he did that to the glamrocks once they all became aware of his asshole-ery too. I don't think the show will do that though since it seems like they're going down a different route, however it's definitely still possible and completely in character for him.

I’m with Puppet-if anyone tried to spoil the ending of One Piece, it would be like if Luffy had accepted Rayleigh’s offer to tell him about it when they first met. Just not worth it. It’s about the journey, Eclipse! The journey! And it is totally hilarious that Eclipse couldn’t make a deal with Puppet precisely because of how much of dedicated fan he is. Each failed attempt just made me laugh even harder than the last. Also, it continues to be great how the one line Eclipse won’t cross is incorrect pronoun usage.
