As a kenyan woman I say thanks for the compliment. We are indeed very different with different backgrounds. Nigerian women have natural tough voices and can speak quite loudly which is not a bad thing in itself. Several of them are also quite combative. We have combative loud women in Kenya as well!

How I wish you took time to interview the local community people to give you the exact picture on the ground.It would have trully boosted this video in stead of you simply telling us what you are not so sure of coz brothels are everywhere but from the kind of picture you gave us, to me it didn't seem like the real picture on the ground.Next time try asking the locals and you might be surprised with thd kind of information you will recieve.Coz it looked like this was your own personal opinion.

I was in Kenya for a vacation. Kenya have a lot of lovely things but one will still not deny the city I stayed as a hub of prostitutes. Kenya people and government still have a lot to do about girl child education.Making education free for females will decimate the number of females that are engaged in this trade. It is also important that more jobs are created to cater for the growing number of graduates from Educational Institutions, this is the only methods they can salvage the females from the grip of prostitution. #if you eucate a female, you have educated a nation#

The streets are pathetic. Kakamega county could create well paying jobs by upgrading and maintaining the streets, sanitation, city planning and code enforcement. The route is also a shortcut that links 2 vital areas within Kakamega so most are just crossing. Not everyone around there is involved in the sex trade just a minority. Prostitution is an old European activity which predates christianity. It is foreign to Africans and has been introduced to us by westerners after colonization which was followed by poverty of Africans. Before colonization when Africans were in their wealth in livestock agricultural practices and wild life there was no prostitution in Africa. Every man had his wife no matter how ugly he could have been as long as he could arrange marriage for himself or marriage arranged on his behalf and the necessary rituals are met such as paying of lobola. I mean even if the man was disabled as long as he could make a family. As long as poverty is transferred from Europe to Africa, the tendancies that made poverty to exist in Europe even pre christianity times has brought prostitution in Africa through colonization and poverty that comes with it.Its bad and contrary to good morals. People could learn other means of earning a living like tailoring haircuts and hairstyles. Small scale farming and agriculture than prostitution because this prostitution touches directly the ethos of child bearing
