What a run of movies, seriously. Some directors would kill to have 2 or 3 of those classics in their entire back catalogue, let alone their first 7!

Great films. Can you put some people of color in your films though. Sheeesh! You’ll be hard pressed to find any people of color in his or Martin Scorsese films smh

I love how Rob doesn't throw those other great directors under the bus and agree with Howard saying they "failed" to get The Princess Bride made. "They couldn't get anybody interested.." Classy.

I grew up in the '70s, but from what I have read about that era, Stand By Me seems to have absolutely nailed small town life for boys in the late '50s. Great, great film.

I used to work in LA and back in1994 I worked at accounting at the Culver lot for 1 day. After work, I walked onto the set of American President and got to watch them film the shooting pool scene with Martin Sheen (A very nice person who actually held the door for me)
I had a great conversation with the sound guy. He used reel to reel to record the film and I asked why he wasn't using DAT.

He had Jack Nicholson (A Few Good Men) do the scene on the witness stand OVER 30 TIMES. In contrast, Clint Eastwood is famous for having actors do a scene just once or twice if he sees that they nailed it .
