I hear and feel the presence of souls. I cried for the whole tour and my eyes where all swelling up. I prayed before I left . I called yashua and Yahweh to forgive our sin and bring our children back home .
My soul is been searching.

I was there that day as well, and was so overwhelmed. The gratitude, love and respect that I felt. The reason I’m here today was because one/more of my ancestors made it through that door, persevered with the prayer that one day I’d return. I owe them! 😭

I have been in those dungeons and it is an unbelievable experience. You can feel the power of the spirit of the ancestors in there. I will recommend it to all those gang banging kids who refuse to make any effort to be successful. They will understand that they come from a premium and resilient stock and can achieve anything they put their minds to and stop being defeatist.

I saw one African American Woman, where I work, this lady seeing her, I saw nothing but Ashanti Woman, the dark Skin, the big bold eye, the short thick body of typical Ghanaian Women, I am not a Ghanaian, but in my travels, as African I have met hundred of such Women. I asked where, she is from, she said, she is from US. Nothing else, when you disconnect, people from their sources, you disconnect their Soul and Spirit from their existence. But everything happen for a reason, African in diaspora, have to change their own narrative, and connected back to their Sources to uplift, their Spirit.
This is why I feel Jay, cause he has empathy. He deeper then the bottom dollar. May the spirit of all the ancestors bless us all.

As one who has been to Africa, I would say it is the home of my ancestors, but i am too far removed to consider Africa home personally. I loved it when I visited, but I would not consider myself African. I don’t subscribe to african culture or their languages and they let me know that when I visited.

Visiting these places is way of telling your ancestors that they might not be here but they were triumphant, because we are able to go back through that door of no return back into our homeland. They’ll be proud. This is more of a healing than anything, a way of reflecting

So I did a little research on the guy crying in the video. He sold lots of heavy drugs to his community and his own father. Been arrested, came out and did same and said he would sell drugs better than before he got arrested. now sells real estate utilizing his same drug dealing principles he stated in an article. Read the article where he glorified his drug selling to the community but never had remorse for the people and their families destroyes by drugs.. I found it so odd he could cry about ancestors he never met and cant name from 400 years ago but had no problem destroying his current ancestors/ community with his drug sales. I hate to say it but as an African American Christian I kind of laugh at these videos where all us black people are crying for ancestors we cant name and have no clue what their experiences were. But sitting here destroying our present ones. A Christian doesn't pray to dead ancestors for help never know who went to hell. lol. We pray to God / talk to jesus as Christians. Any other religion, I can't speak on how they operate.

I would love to visit Ghana one day. My parents are Jamaican and from what I do know most Jamaicans have ancestral lineage going back to Ghana, and for some Nigeria. I really believe that all those in the African diaspora should visit if they’re ever afforded the time and opportunity. From what I hear, it’s an experience. Much love everyone! 💙💪🏾

The problem of others countries are stability and dictatorship governments, Ghana n other West Africa countries seems to be free from this factors. Ghana was even a central point of exit and organization of slave. My dad who was 111 years before his death in 2011 at the famous slave market town Salga. He said family use to go in group or u risk of being captured at gun point, farmer and smaller village were major targets this white use to hunt, this is what he told me, though others have their own stories too.

I am Yoruba from Nigeria and I say welcome home. I visited the point of no return in Badagry as a teenager and what I felt there will remain with me forever. We Africans love African Americans and we want you to visit Africa and walk on the grounds our ancestors walked. The slave trade affected everyone and from the stories passed down in my family, most people were kidnapped when they went to the river or to their farms, taken to these slave houses and kept in the dungeons before they were shipped off to the unknown. It might seem as if some Africans don't know much about the slave trade, it is simply because it is not taught in schools. What we are taught is what was passed to us by the colonial masters. I feel your pain and I welcome you all back home, to the motherland, to Africa.

Africa is for Africans, I left New York two years ago back to Gambia 🇬🇲 where everybody looks like me now me and my family is Gambia citizen we only go to the US for visiting. Am happy here no more intimidation I build my own house 🏠 5 bed rooms with large compound my kids are very happy, come back home and invest there is lots of opportunity here just come visit first and see for yourself.
