I’m only watching this to hear Paulo’s awesome music.
It's written Paolo with the O
@Nolan Ahmed Dunno if anyone gives a damn but all you annoying spammers made your account on March 6th 2021
That 303 mode is so reminiscent of classic early 90’s Goa. So simple but so moving.
Dude. I was thinking the same lol. Sounds just like early 90s Goa 😂
"Let's take a quick look" (instant acid attack)
Chemical Brothers tune im almost sure
@@wizards001 or KLF?
That 303 riff was very KLF. I was shouting "Mu.... Mu...." throughout it.
Was about to say the same :)
I heard it too, then I scrolled through the comments. At least it's not just me.
Exactly what I was thinking.
What time is love?
@@stratomaster891 Aye, think there's a trance mix of that tune that sounds similar?
Wow, that goa trance sequence was spot-on 🙂
Absolutely, the best review of the Wasp on CZcams. Great work, very helpful. Also loved when you added external reverb and delay... and told us!!! Outstandingly gear review!
It's a beast. Love mine. I have a Roland Jd-xi which is a great little Groovebox synth, but it lacks in the analogue section tbh. I always have the Wasp as the replacement for that problem 👌
First time I heard an audio demo of this synth module. I am very pleasantly surprised how good it sounds.
Thank you, Dave, it sounds very nice and powerful indeed!
Dude, when this first came out I was not too impressed. But your in depth review really showcased this synth. I love your music examples too!
I appreciate that!
Finally,a master that can show the world how to proper play the Wasp Deluxe synth...Cheers sir!
Thumbs down? Someone doesn't deserve to have thumbs!
I love how diverse the styles of your examples are. Really helps demonstrate the range of timbres of the synth
Particularly the 1990s rave music. That's a huge blind spot with CZcams synthesiser reviewers.
@@AshleyPomeroy enormous blind spot...
I like how you actually show how the synths sound making music, most channels just hit one note and just sweep the knobs which isnt very musical!
hell yeah
I've got that beast since last week and I was a bit confused. Thank you for this perfect video. Each knob explained - great!!!
Man, your demos are such quality! Worth it for the tunes alone.
Waay too kind, thank you, Alex!
Thank you. All your videos have been invaluable in the information they disseminate. Had this synth didn’t know it was so versatile.
This synth is much more versatile than I would have guessed. Thank you for the demo, Paulo.
Great demo of a great synth. All your posts are super informative!! Many thanks.
Mines arriving tomorrow because of this video! Great review/tutorial, really showed off its versatility 👍
Thanks for checking out the modern version of one of our all-time favorites!
Thank you for this review! I own the Behringer WASP, but I have not touched it for a while. Feeling inspired and learned some things. Great video!
Glad it was helpful!
Superb review delivered with honesty and skill, thank you
Beautiful ballad! Great demo! I love the Wasp and think it's highly underrated.
Thank you, cortical1!
I’m up to 15:50 and had to stop to say “wow!” love your creations mate always beautifully done thanks for your work!
Thank you very much!
Did I just hear klf... what time is love! Great review Paulo
That bears more than a passing resemblance to WTIL
Very good review. Not only raw sounds but as always nice music.
Awesome review man, i'm really impressed with how many good sounds you came up with!
Thanks a ton!
Fantastic demo, you are one of the best musicians online and I hope to see more demos,. You make amazing music!
Wow, thank you!
Great review yet again Paulo...that 80`s lead was amazing !
Thank you very much!
Excellent review, thank you very much! Great walk through and demo.
Thanks for this. I love mine. Had the original years ago. Such a mad sound. Great vid.
Brilliant exposition of the wasp - so informative 😊 thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I have a feeling you will have convinced a few more people to purchase the unit after that acid preset! Amazing stuff
Sounds nice and surprising how versatile it is, great demo as always helps to hear someone with broad skills of different styles.
Glad you like it!
great demo!
Great demo!
Besides the great sound and tonal flexibility, I like the lay-out of the knob controls. Simple and easy to understand, even without looking at the manual. I could experiment on this synthesizer for hours and not get tired.
Out of all the new Behringer synth clones this seems the most worth while to me. A classic but perhaps a more crustier vibe that isn't so often heard in modern mixes.
Wow Paulo . You made this instrument shine :-). Excellently demonstrated.
Many thanks!
Love the '80s ballad!
why did it have to cut off so early😭😭
came to hear paulo pronounce "portamento" stayed for his soundz and the WASP. :)
After all, portamento is an Italian word. Therefore, his pronunciation is perfect :-)
@@Synth_Tools :: preaching to the choir ::
I figured immediately he must be italian by that pronounciation.
@@Jason75913 sure... and because his name is Paolo :-D
Pronounced the way it was intended!
That 303 Jam be hitting so hard wow!
Nice review! I love my Wasp! The filter is great. I used to have a Wasp filter module in my Eurorack.
Very cool, PJ! Versatile filter for sure
fantastic review
Very well explained, but the most important why I love your Videos is your exceptional Musical Talent. Thx for the video, love the music demo
I appreciate that!
Fantastic Video.
Excellent review. Can always rely on you Paolo If I ever want to know what can be done with a synth. 👍
I like the way you say portamento. Great review.
I recommend that you visit Italy, then. You will find sixty million people who pronounce it like that.
I had purchased one of these when they first came out and it sounded just beautiful. Could give it a nice little hisssss on that low end bass. Sounded amazing
Very nice!
I really appreciate the correct pronunciation of Behringer. Thanks!
Love the Lords Of Acid style riff you did at the end.. Very nice synth for peanuts.
I said I was done buying mono-synths, but you got me rethinking that Paulo!
I said that too, but there’s one that doesn’t let me, the Typhon.
Suberb review thanks for the lovely sounds and that is indeed multi frequency of a wasp mimicry very nice soundz
Many thanks!
303-Style Jam its amazing, you are very talented.
Heaven starts at 16.15. Thank you so much Paolo!
It's like a somber scene in Miami Vice
Just goes to show with a little musicality, you can have a great review. Love your vids. Great deal of expression.
love your SQ80
16:26 - Woah.. that Techno track gave my goosebumps. That was freaking awesome! You rock!
This video really helped me break down the wasp into what I’m fully working with. Excellent job and amazing work! Thank you so much.
(Joey A.K.A. DVR)
Glad it helped!
ho comprato da un mese questa e la cat davvero due prodotti top della behringer davvero grazie infinite per questo video mi hai illuminato
Piacere mio, Fernando, grazie!
Awesome job! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!! 🔥
super demo Paulo and i have to say i love what #behringer are doing, the #wasp is a wicked little monster :-)
Many thanks!!
Nice demo Paolo
Thank you kindly
EDP WASP was the 303 of the '70s.
Respect of you chanel!!
Great piece of gear ⚙️
Wow...that ballad stuff... :-))))) Great review!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Next announcement: Behringer Oscar, with 1/3 scale rubber bumpers between the synth sections ;-)
Thank you, amazing sound.
Thanks for listening
Great video Paul’s. I passed up buying the original wasp in the early 80s as I didn’t like the look of the capacitive keyboard, but wow they sure did sting. Really hard edged sound. Well done Paul.
Thank you very much!
Sounds badass ❤
Cool little box, thanks for the addition to my list...lol
Everybody gangsta until Paolo starts playing a Mortal Kombat style song at 16:15
☠
He's biggest expert at this kind of style, among other synth youtubers.
14:28 DEMO '80s Ballad Syn Lead - so lovely!
Paolo!!! I just purchased “Close to Me” via ITunes!!! Rock on with your bad self!!! Good track!!! Keep em coming!!!
16:34 That's the 303 acid track, I was waiting for!
Love my Wasp Deluxe and will never get rid of it. Fat as hell 👌. Thanx for great video, and introducing more people to it 😊
Sounds great.
I ordered one last night...😉😉
I think this will be the perfect synth for my son to get a feel.... Pretty simple for his video game brain lol And he loves the name and look 🐝🐝🐝
Very rad. Thank you!
Thank you, Paul, glad you liked it!
Love that 80' ballad song
13:03 OMG I LOVE THIS
I love this so much........ I LOVE the sound and I LOVE your play so much... I must find the way to play like that, I want to be able to play exactly the same part like you... I will train hard this is so cool, thanks a lot for this video you give me big motivation !!
Big salut from France 🇫🇷
Vinz🙋♂️
cool video! thanks
You bet!
Very nice review indeed. Imho the neutron and the crave sound much closer to my musical taste
The 303 style is awesome and on 15:40 I recognise "il guardian del faro" style
you're still the best!!
Awww, you're way too kind, thank you!!!
Damn, Wasp is a general(and only) synth of godfathers of power electronics - Whitehouse.
It will be awesome if you can play something in their style.
Dark Drone reminded me of Being Boiled - Human League....I seem to recall Nick Rhodes saying the original was his first synth...Thanks for sharing Paolo 😎
Very welcome, VisionAssoc!
Thanks! I was wondering about these, they're not that expensive!
A massive bee was in my studio yesterday and it landed on one of my synths, but flew off before I could get a photo. I was going to make a Wasp joke, but alas it didn't want to play ball.
Then you uploaded this and it made me chuckle.
But anyway, nice demo Paolo. Plenty of beef and rasp to work with there.
Wierd anecdote bro, appreciated it
@@mitchellrutherford1215 Not as weird as trying to figure out which bit of your gear was buzzing and discovering the fattest bee you've ever seen sat on your Pro~One. :)
@@AlexBallMusicyou said "I didn't notice that buzzing BeEfOrE?" No doubt
Hi, Alex, it's all fun and games until you discover a month later they made a nest under the VCF panel. Then, the phrase "that recording studio downtown has made quite a buzz, lately" takes a new meaning.
"play Ball" Ahhh I get it...
16:30…oh lord. That 303 jam is down right fantastic
Wasp was used in Kim Wilde's Kids in America.. Since then, I always wanted that synth..might get it now finally..
And Robert Rental and Thomas Leer . Under the bridge album .
I didn't know that. Also used on Depeche Mode's Never Let Me Down Again-Aggro Mix(sampled,I think).
Yeah you know what you're doing I appreciate that.
80's Ballad Amazing but the Acieed section reminded me of how I used to stick my TB303 through my Pro-One's filters back in the day.
I just wish it had CV/Gate input. That filter is so nice I wish I could modulate it with external CV.
16:15 wow that sounds incredible!!!! omg 🙉
Noone can tweak a synth like you
I got the 303 clone, and now wish I got this. But I’ll still get this . It sounds killer
sick-ass 303 style jam haha!!
Reminds me a bit of a Pro 1 but warmer and not as punchy, sounds really good.
A little Traci Lords there??? (What a great album for that moment in time!) Juno Reactor Produced: Control 1995... Epic!
I knew I heard that sound somewhere....
