    In my opinion, to get promoted you need work experience as well as a PE license more than you need a graduate degree.

      Totally agree. A Masters degree is less important than a PE and training certs.

    I’m doing the research myself, but perhaps you could help me with this question. As someone with only a GED (I plan to retake it for a better grade. I took it almost 8 years ago.) and 8 years of Starbucks Experience, would a community college be a place to start? And which field of Engineering (Civil Engineering, is my best guess?) should I be looking for? Thank you for your time.
