- To celebrate 90 years since the first Bedford was build the Bedford Enthusiasts Club held a rally at Leighton Buzzard.

15 cwt van, shut the doors by putting the brakes on. great fun when you're 17 and got a job delivering frozen fish in 1969.
Never drove anything but Bedford tk's during my 17 years as a house delivery coal man, the side engine flaps brilliant if you needed a pee, lift the flap pretending to look at the engine and peeing in the middle of the street haha, brilliant lorries, perfect height for hand loading and carrying off.
