- The 2RawForTheStreets DVD era was special without a doubt, but coming across videos like this 18 years later makes me appreciate just how special guys like E.Ness were fresh out of the teenage years. This Rare video was of the first day that I met YHM which included E.NESS, BRUNO BRINX, BLACK VILLAN, BLACK KEY (PRODUCER), and more! I had heard about Ness from fellow 2Raw alumni KRE FORCH. They had battled or sparred weeks prior and Kre was telling me from that day that I needed to meet this guy named E.Ness who stood toe 2 toe with him. Kre respected Ness so much after that encounter that he highly endorsed him to become apart of the family. This video was the result of that co-sign, and the rest was history! Another cool thing about this video is watching Bruno Brinx going off the top. Being that this was the first time I met him I had now idea he was off the top. These guys were before their time.

Ness something else man lol. He done wrote more shit than I’ve forgotten he’s used before. Everything he spit from like 15:09 and beyond on that Nelly Furtado beat, he used in his 1st battle with Jae Millz on Making The Band. I will say this though: this is my first time hearing Ness recycle a few bars. He literally has always had some new shit for every occasion.
He gave up a clip on a old ass DVD but I know he got a lot more Ness even old style Ness you don’t hear anymore. It all seems like yesterday. I'm really feeling Big Star's throwback videos. If you watch enough of these videos, you can see how rap changed. I never thought rap would sound the way it does today in 2021. I thought it would always be on some early 2000 - Philly & New York shit!
