Lovin' the "Bombi Cam View" Thanks Colton! That was fun.
I really appreciate the way you show your support, appreciation and respect for your employees.
If I was ever treated by a boss or owner the way you treat your crew, I would have had a long career. Instead, I can't ever retire and have low pay. 👽🗿👽
The Chevy deserves a beautiful paint job and the interior redone
No keep it patina, and keep the hood on
Modify the hood and keep the. Rory did this but this car needs something more cosmetic.
Diamond tuck cloth bench seat upholstery.
No way, that sleeper look is all the rage
I was born in 1957 and I turn 67 this year, so I don’t think that 70 years old sits well with me yet. Looking forward to seeing what your 67 year old Chevy project looks like when you’re finished, yes it is beating up like me, but I’m a work in progress too.
I'm a bit older but remember picking those Hot-Rods up for $300 back in the 60's & 70's lol
I should Have Kept Them...
I kept 1 - A 56 GMC NAPCO 4X4 Monster Truck
Yeah, I was wondering how a '57 somehow passed by me in age! I didn't even hear a by your leave, sir...
@@blakestone8088 I feel ya. I let go a 63 Riv, a 69 Riv with a 455 Stg 1 in it, and a '67 Caddy. To be honest, the 69 would have eventually removed my license or life, since the loud pedal kept my foot itchy...
@@46wireboy Those were the days when you could Insure you License and dive any vehicle you got into
Sean's knowledge and skills are priceless....!!!!!
This means better builds coming our way...!!!!
Im really diggin the bombi footage. Thats a pretty cool cat watching like he was helping.
Sean or Shawn or however it is spelled in this case is a great asset to te team!!! It must be tough with the cameras around but i hope he gets used to it. Just need to be yourself my man, you are doing a great job!!!!!
Shaun
Shawn
Pshonne
Shon
God is gracious
We need a Q & A about Sean please!!! The man is Amazing!!
no to highrise. yes to supercharger lol!! help me Robbie. Sean is an amazing asset to your team
The 57 is looking sweet! Sean was a great addition the team, love you all! 💯💥💪🏼
That Ole girl deserves a full resto in brandywine and all new bright work she would be one classy lady
You should get a ratty hood, cut it in the middle and peel it back, in every direction. It will look like the intake grew through the hood.
Rory at Trailmater Did that with his truck "Ole Blue" with the Blower coming through the hood, looks like it exploded through the hood! looks killer, definitely a great idea and i think it would look rad on Robbys car!
Thanks for finally bringing the 57 back to the world. All the work to build in fourteen days and you brought it home and we haven't seen it since then.
Now you have something to use the car for and you are spending time on it again. Don't use it for this show and then parking again.
Let's see you do some body work when you bring it home.
Boss, make Robby do the body to turn the 57 into the show car it should be.
Thanks
Great job! It takes an amazing team to accomplish what has been done. Thank you for sharing! 👌
Bombi needs his own shirts… 🐈⬛
Bombi is da Bomb - can never have too much adorable around 😊
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
We love watching your videos. Love how y'all share your family with us.
One thing you really need to do to that car is give it an altitude adjustment and lower it. It’s totally at grandpas parade car height right now. 😇
You need to do the body work on that 57 while you have shawn around to make custom panels....😊
Robbie you need Some "Shine Juice" on that 57
When you're doing custom stuff, you have to make custom things - Robby Layton. 😂
Would be awesome if you restored the 57 Chevy.
I like this mellow Robbie. I’m so used to seeing “high strung” Robbie that is always loud and rambunctious. This was much easier to watch and relax. I’d like to see this more often. Keep up the good content.
Keep the hood on plz. Its cool as heck
Once again Sean is the adult in the shop 😂
I really enjoy seeing those old cars come back to life.
Shawn needs a raise
Love watching you on CZcams an your family an family God bless
Oh snap! Bradford, PA is about 45 minutes from where I grew up. They've also got the Zippo Factory and a Case Knives factory.
You can't never have to many tools. Keep doing what you are doing.
I like the cat stuff is your butt in my face😂😂 just can't make this stuff up as always great vid team . Chris
Bombi is a beautiful cat. He’s lucky to be at your shop.
Robbie you should do amazing custom paint on the 57 chevy something like lace and pin stripes
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
GOOD JOB!
Those beads are amazing Robby, keep welding
When you were welding the bung in for the O2 sensor and couldn't see the topside you could have set up a mirror. you just have to remember that everything is backwards when you mirror weld.
I like the longer video. The car looks great the way it is, with a surprise under the hood.❤ Maybe spiff up the interior a bit so you can be more comfortable traveling in it.❤ Great job.
Hooray for everyone, the big kids, the little kids and the ones in between.
I love it when the kitty makes an appearance
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Layton Nation! 💪
Ahh man we wanted to hear it start oh well lol. Thanks for the video guy's.
Let's go. 57 for the win.
Great details on the work you are doing.
Thank you for another great instalment ❤
Awesome job guys
"When you're making custom stuff, you gotta make custom things" - Robert Merrymount Peppercorn Layton, 2024
Great job in the van prix Robby, I hope your back's not hurting too much!
Would love to see you in this car and Demry in the pacer. Burn out competition.
I have a similar tightening style as hillbilly. My buddies call it a Jay Newton.
Same here my brother and I both tighten stuff really tight .
Robby, get either fans or salvage yards looking for Bell housing covers. You need one that goes behind the flywheel and one that goes underneath the flywheel/clutch/ etc.
Get that all covered up for the future.❤
You needed a Motion Raceworks throttle body. The connector is made onto it, so no welding required. How did that crank sensor swap work? You can't replace a black one with a gray one.
Food grade grease breaks down under high temperatures. Fine for stuff that isn't going to get above 200 F or when you are just doing temporary layout assembly, otherwise you'll want to use regular automotive grease. I have used FG grease on shipping dock plates and it lasts even in an outdoor environment, butthat is simple actuation lubrication only.
My apologies Coltin, for calling you the camera man....to the 'fair dinkum crew' you've nailed it.....thankyou...how many sleeps to the next video? 😊
Robby, you took a black crank sensor out and put a grey one back in. Black is gen 3, grey is gen 4.
Would like to see Sean actually doing his stuff and show how to use the different tools he uses. Great addition to the team.
Nice work guys
Tear apart an old hard drive and use the disk as a free mirror for welding where you can't see... Stole that fro Dirt Head Shed
Killing the content so happy you guys are doing so well 🙏
I am looking forward to the next video that is definitely going to be a badass car
"What is he doin'?"
Well, Mr. Bombi obviously got promoted to QA Inspector. He's just checking your work... 😂😁🤟
I Think the new supervisor approves !
You need to bring it back to Hot August Night this year!
I think that the '57 needs some bodywork love. Even the Pacer looks better...
Saw it going down I-15 last month without the hood on...now I know why. Passed in between Spanish Fork and Payson. Left lane just a moving along Robbie was. I was stuck in right lane...poor semi only goes 70.
If you're not a "tuner", an average Joe cannot afford to pay for the computer time necessary. He can however change power valves and jets.
Yes! I thought you forgot about this awesome car!
After working on the 57 body work, let's get him started on your Bronco. That will give you a sweet cruiser and something to drive in bad weather days.
Robby when putting on the collar for the fuel line fitting if you turn counterclockwise as you push it will go on easy if you didn't know love your show 😁
Gotta go to motion racing. Cletus owns the company and it’s got good things for ls’s
That sniper efi looked awesome too me too be honest. Not so bulky and all that extra intake going on. Just my opinion tho. I like both but for the old car i like the sleek intake setup keeps it small like the carb setup.
Great job again.
Love The Videos ❤❤❤❤❤From Fayetteville Tn.
Don't forget to put lock tight on those butterfly screws
Dang, wish I hadn't missed LS Fest this year!
Damn that was anticlimactic lol 😂 wanted to hear it run and see her do a knarly burnout man 😢
Should would like to see the Chevy painted in a nice colour
Dammit, now I have Blues Clues in my head. Thank you Robbie.
Watched Chad fabs video already. Wish his video would’ve came out after yours
Awesome guy's
Love the channel, love the 57, painful however looking at the ugly engine compartment, with all the beautiful new engine and accessories. Could have at least bead blasted and rattle canned that lol
It has old ugly paint and interior it needs a High end custom paint job and interior.
8:00 Bombi the Supervisor lol
great as always great team
I believe motion race works have that style throttle body with the vband
Robby, talk with Cleetus for Motion Race Works Parts.
Great Video
I’ll buy that vacuum wiper motor from you. I need one and I’m willing to try and rebuild it.
Motion race Work already makes one with a V band
I had a buddy back in the 80s that had had a 74 F 250 and a 68 cougar GT XR7 and two engines and every spring and fall we would swap the engines!
You can pick who the cat person on the team is. Bombi knows!! Colton ftw!
I mean since youve already hood deleted it and i know Shawn can do the metal work to make it look nice. After LS fest you itd be dope to super charge the 57.
Danger to teh manifold!
if Hillbilly really does know where everything is then challenge him on where that 10mm socket or wrench is since the 10 is always the one that goes missing lol
Wrap the exhaust by those sensors or wrap heat shielding around the harness by the exhaust
Just cut a hole in the hood and install a scoop, it is only a Chevy anyway so no value lost.
Robby with that purple oil filter I hear by dub the 57 "The Barney mobile".....
Thats why you gotta buy a motion raceworks throttle body.
I'm surprised it's not the cam sensor that's what normally starts leaking first on an LS
Also on an LS if you think your rear cranks
Seal is leaking check the cam sensor first
