This recipes never fail for me. Use: 2 cups Tapioca flour, 1/2 cup of red bag flour, 1 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup of water. One can of coconut juice. Boiled the 1/2 water with sugar. Add the flours together. Pour in the sugar water once dissolved into the flour. Add 1 can of coconut plus 1/2 cup of water. Mixed together and separate to mix color. Just steam for only 5min or so. You can touch the surface to make sure its stable to handle the next layer. Voila!! **DO NOT ADD ADDITIONAL OIL OR IT WILL BE TOO OILY** IF YOU DONT LIKE OILY..USE COCONUT CREAM INSTEAD.

I know that she have it written on her video but if some of us follow exactly what it said then why it still turn out kind of hard? Unless she just wants us to keep watching her channel so she get numbers of view. For some reasons hmong recipes always turns out not the way it should be.

Try using only 1/2 Cup of the red flour only. I believe she used too many of the red bag flours which caused the hardness.

Enjoying Life mines was the same why, I tried it the second time and left it to Steam for an hour and it still was stiff and really chewy.
