Even though I want onic to lose (mostly because of fans' toxicity), it's still hard to see some people sad because of the outcome. Comeback stronger ONIC.
there's always toxic fans anywhere. SYS fans defending their cheating behaviour, SRG fans being overproud over scrim results, TLPH fans hating yawi, APBR fans who keeps trashtalking everytime ONIC is mentioned, RRQ and EVOS fans hating each other as always, etc. i only cared about the players' toxicity ever since. i dont like nathzz and flaptzy due to their irritating taunting. M3 BLCK lineup is personally my fav team in terms of their personalities
and guess what? ONIC fans are well known to be the quietest and calmest fans in MPL ID for the longest time. since S3, the fans didnt even brag about their MSC 2019, only EVOS did so with their M1. go ask any MPL ID viewers and they'll say the same thing.

I'd say this is Moonton's biggest tournament, and the major tournament where most things happened all at once more likely in favor of Indonesia, but UNFORTUNATELY non of it worked and instead for the better, it turned into worse!🤯
I'd give out reasons:
1.) PH was dominating before the patch changes, and moonton changed it.
2.) ID (adi?) requested to buff assassins to favor Onic's game style.
3.) Evos said PH imports was a scam in their region and trusted a full Indo lineup, but now here in MSC it's a Filipino reuinion😂🇵🇭
4.) Removed the lower bracket or the double elimination format, because they've said that PH always managed to climb up.
5.) Before the MSC group stage have started, Indonesians have already debated that this MSC is better than any M-Series and mostly discredited it.
So notice that every reason that I noted, is supposedly to favor ID but in the end, here we are..😆 (all of it turned against them)
For the longest time they are at an advantage yet PH always manage to overcome that and be better. ID focuses too much on everything except their gameplay, except their competition. The audacity to call us PH boring, but look at Onic 4-peat champion, no challenge in their region, in which resulted to early MSC elimination😂
I guess I don't know much about MPL ID competition🤷 but the fact that in MPL PH, the top 5 teams have multiple international titles on their heads says a lot already. Maybe it is indeed boring for PH🇵🇭 to keep winning, and maybe shifting towards entertainment and production is a good idea to start a losing streak like ID🇮🇩

I'm not a hater and I love Indo people but I guess the problem with most Indo Fans is that they are still stuck with their past glory. They thought that winning the past MSC give them the upperhand and think that aside from PH other regions can't cope up with them. Well in fact, they're the ones who's being left behind. It isn't that they're not strong anymore, it's just that some regions really did step up and improved a lot. The match against SYS is the most unexpected and a literal upset. Imagine being stomped by a team without a coach and analyst. I think before playing against SRG, Onic players were demoralized. They are accustomed to always being on top. I hope this MSC 2024 will serve as a lesson for the fans to stop being toxic. Not just Onic Fans, but all the fans. Trashtalk is okay, but not to the extent you target players and their personal life. And for Onic, you guys did your best, get stronger, and bounce back. Overall, MSC 2024 gives a lot of twists and many more upcoming interesting matches. Peace out. ✌️✨

Indonesia is overrated they focus more on productions and entertainment rather than actually winning. They tried importing PH players and coaches but other regions with PH imports too improved drastically in gameplay and mindset. Now all teams involved in the next round has PH imports or coaches in their respective team and it just shows how dominant PH as an mlbb-region.

It's proly part of his coping mechanism. And at the end of the day the job still needs to be done. He did a great job on hiding his bias but as for every other person in this world there were some lapses. I mean everyone was shocked by that 2-0 by SYS and after that mirko proly conditioned himself of the high chance that Onic won't qualify for the playoffs. Since the next match of SYS was an easy 2-0 against Falcon, which proly was the easiest team in this whole tourna, yes, easier than twisted mind. The jungle for Falcon was really really bad, even tho ding, super, and goodnight is carrying they are not enough if their jungle was always dead and cannot retri for his life. And Onic with that kind of performance was expected by most sane person that won't be able to 2-0 SRG.

That's how strong PH is.
Kramm and Innocent came from TNC - the weakest team in MPL PH. But look at them now, dominating other teams.
Onic is actually still strong, but the problem there is they stayed just as strong as they were all while the other regions are improving.
That's the con of being the strongest in your area, you don't get to face a challenger that could help you evolve and grow, which us why they remained as is..stagnant. And other teams were able to read them.
MPL-MY's level of competition has stepped up significantly, same goes with MPL-KH and other regions. Ph, of course...we don't need to explain that.Teams in MPL Ph play like it's always the granfinals.
