They are hilarious and usually up to no good. When they're not busy bossing the dog around, they're busy taking showers or playing piano (more or less well). Do you own a Conure? Leave us a comment below and let us know what yours does to entertain you :)
Thank you everyone for visiting & watching! I want to point out that the segments that show Mango (the Conure) playing with Chloe (the dog), is NOT something we allow any longer. Although no one got hurt during the course of their play sessions, I feel it's just too big of a risk and Conures are little birds that could easily get hurt. I don't recommend to EVER leave your bird and dogs/cats unsupervised together. Play responsibly :)
The Peeping Egg is it hard to hand tame a conure if it’s wings aren’t clipped ??

I’m no bird expert but I think it would be a bit more challenging. Just make sure that they are comfortable with you and it should be ok

I have a conure and I keep his wings fully grown due to the dogs,There cool but I do not trust them alone for a second..Heck no!!I love my 🐦 so much I can't even imagine..But it's recommend that you keep the bird able to get out if a situation if one arrizes?
My dusky headed conure, Skittles, also likes to 'wrestle' and to burrow down, in my case, between my folded arms and/or chest. He greets me every day with an excited squawk, and loves to kiss and pet. I also have a cockatiel, Baby, who is super sweet and can't stand to be away from me at ALL. Loves head rubs and kisses, screams maniacally when he has to go back in his cage. They are both real sweetie pies.

I have a bird, Indian ring neck, who is absolutely in love with the dog, Pomeranian. He goes nuts when he sees her. She just ignores him mostly. He runs up to her asking “what are you doing?” repeatedly. It’s cute. And always supervised.
@@jaxx1142 yeah, my friend had a cockatiel that loved to hang around her two dogs, and would ride the husky shepard mixes back around the house

I love my black capped conure. He is just a tiny bird who thinks he's got the body of the biggest cockatoos.

WOW...I absolutely want to go and get a Conure now!!...Aura watched this with me and was fascinated!...How did I miss this video?..I woke up thinking of you..how its been a while I haven't heard from you...Hope you're feeling better and have somewhat recovered from your Dental procedures...I've been keeping you in my prayers and thoughts..been so busy at Aura's school and up and around with the Family...and I have so many uploads to put up but need time to do it...
I'm really blown away by this video...The way your bird is not scared of your dog..the way it plays in the water and with you guys...and Girl...you play piano and read music TOO??????....I love the Piano and played it back when I was 12..used to know how to read music too but haven't played or studied music since then so my mind is a complete blank....I would love to go back and restart music /piano lessons...

I don't know how I missed this comment, I feel terrible! Well there are 4 babies...he he he it is never too late to start playing piano again! I didn't play for many years and just got back into it (hence the sucky playing lol). Thank you so much for your very sweet comment, it totally made my day to have found it just now!!! Love you guys and can't wait for you to come to visit this Spring or Summer :) there might just be a little Conure going home with you if all works out :)

Hah! I know your pain trying to play the piano and your conure just HAS to stand in the area you need to press most of your keys. And eat your buttons. And poo on the piano even though they just went on the stand 3 minutes ago. And scream along (surprised yours didn’t lol). Beautiful birds you have by the way.

I never had a conure, but I had five cockatiels at various times and they behave very similarly to your conures. I love how your 🐕 plays with your 🐦 s,.,.,.Mango was acting thuggish on your piano 🤣. I play the piano too and we have almost the same keyboard by Yamaha,.,.,I enjoyed the video, thumbs up 👍🦁
I was just telling someone else that apparently the comments I do from my phone don't post, so here I am again! I love my silly birds, they're the most entertaining pets! (Yes, better than dogs lol). I love that piano, it has great sound & options though I wish it had a few more slots for recordings (it has only 5). Have you uploaded any of your playing yet? :_)
They are both very cute! I recently bought a conure. I learned that they should only have fruit about three times a week. FYI
I wish I could have one or both of the ones here at our Petco here in Klamath Falls Oregon. They are so cute, and nice to me.
My conure is always into something. He got down in my dresser and was stuck for ever i couldn't find him and it scared me. Thank god I heard him in there lol. Yesterday he got inside the cat box and threw cat poop out 🙄 and I'm thinking about getting another one ? 🤦 Lol i hope my next one isn't so bad lol 😂

Hey My Conure his name is Spidey he is my best friend he is always with me he sleeps on the top shelf of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. I have three cockatiels and I have one more parrot. They are never caged they can do what the Hell they want they are the boss. Anyway Spidey says baby because that’s what I call him he doesn’t say Spidey. Hi have another cocktail that my ex girlfriend gave me she passed away he says hi honey because that’s his name🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Told you I would make it over to watch this. When Timmy heard you playing piano, he went into high gear for noise. Then when yours started to talk he joined right in. Lots of kisses for me, and calling a dog who is no longer here. Does your birds crawl inside your clothes like this one?Favorite bath is the dog dish, because it is big and you can make more mess. Next is the regular water dish, either in the sink or in the cage. One thing he does that i don't see yours doing, is that he will take a feather and scratch his head with it. A small tiewrap is almost as good to him. Your birds get along really well. Mine has only me, so he spends some time alone. I do my best, and he gets up at 3 or 4 AM with me. I just found Lipstick & Sofritos and your comment...can't believe i missed them! Well guess what? Mango & Jupiter got married & had "eggs' while I was on vacation....and I never thought in a million years anything would come from it...BUT, now I'm a proud grandmother and have 4 "grandfids" LOL We're definitely keeping 2....or 4 hahahah. I'll have to try the tiewrap thing...Mango likes playing with Legos, Jupiter likes playing with everything she's NOT supposed to play with! Oh and Jupiter is the girl and Mango is the boy...had it wrong all this time LOL Have a fabulous day my friend!

Hello my green cheek conure is a lot like Jupiter and she is very lovin towards me beenie is her name and lam the second owner/friend she's had her first human friend could not take care of her any longer due to the ladies health so l lucked into this conure :-) :-) l am into my second full year with beenie as a friend we are pretty close but she does not like to have neck touched top of her head ok:-) :-) anyways birds are the most amazing animals :-) :-)
Yes I'do, his name is peep peep. He is 7 months old. He lets me know he is the boss. I cannot pick up his food while eating it, he gets mad, an pecks me.
I have got a 7 week old turquoise pineapple conure and I’ve had him for a week now

I have a new baby conure... still biting though but I'm making a mistake putting him back in his cage as that's what he wants. Name is gizmo
My boy is 18 months and his biting is under control finally. Oh he bites, but gently. I think that's the best we can hope for with a male green cheek. It's funny because to watch him he looks like he is tearing my hand off but he's not hurting me at all. My green cheek hates being put in his cage - that is how i punish him for biting hard. He learned that biting hard means time in the penalty box.

I like the video but I am a bird freak so I need to correct you (sorry not sorry) but it's a pineapple green cheek conure not a pineapple conure. Pineapple conure is not a type of bird but pineapple is a colour mutation of the green cheeked conure/parakeet.
P.S. I am getting a normal green cheeked conure this summer of 2019!!!😃

Lmao that bird can get quite annoying and she has it all figured out. She'll go "I LOOOOOVVVE YOU" followed immediately by "Come here" and "Do you have yummy?" "DO YOU HAVE YUMMY" she gets louder and louder lmao plan on putting a video up where we can actually SEE her talk. She's been getting better around the camera :)

The bird & dog playing are cute, but it's actually dangerous. Even the dog's saliva can be toxic to a bird. Mango seems to have clipped wings, too, so he couldn't escape if the dog missteps.
I know you love them and you are right there, but things can happen quicker than you can react.
I leave it to you to decide.
Otherwise, you certainly have a bond with all your animals, which bespeaks a good heart.
I enjoyed your playing, too. Makes me think again I might buy a keyboard and take up music.

Hi there new friend! I apologize for the late reply, we just returned from our vacation :) Thank you for your kind criticism, I appreciate the way in which you worded it. Mango was able to grow out her wings in the meantime and Chloe (the puppy) has calmed down a lot and keeps her distance LOL I totally agree with you..I think we were just being your ignorant, new bird owners, not yet knowing all the accidents that could easily happen. I've learned a lot since we did that video (thank goodness) and I'm happy to report Mango doesnt' poop on my piano that often, "HE" is now busy bossing around the Sun Conures we adopted. I look forward to checking out your videos!
Conures are by far the most entertaining & fun pets I've ever owned. I think there will always be a couple of those pretty colored clowns in my household :) We just love them to pieces! Definitely invest some time in playing a keyboard again, it's very relaxing and fun! I've had my green cheek for about 2 years now and he's about 2 as well..Now I've read alittle about puberty which can be challenging cause u can't touch your bird the way you like and he gets snippy at times but for the most he's very loving playful and is totally in love with his human Daddy 💙..My question is should I get another bird for him to have a companion?I work 8 hrs a day he's in the office area where my Nana and Papa lol.. Hangout all day so I figured he'd be happier there?But My Grandfather IE "papa",,Is getting upset cause seeker calls or checks to see if I'm there with a loud noise he makes hahaha...Just not sure and another bird is a big commitment as we all know.. Please anything help will be much appreciated..

Conures want to do everything with you. The more time you spend with them the more they like it. Mine follows me from room to room, whatever I'm doing he either wants to "help" or perch nearby and make comments. He think's my cutting board is to chop food for him, which makes getting him to try new foods pretty easy. I let him sample everything as long as i know it's not toxic to him.

Just saying your “pineapple conure” is actually a mutation of the green cheek conure. It’s just different coloring.

I have a pineapple conure of unknown age that I bought from the country fair. She is scared of hands and hasn't been responding to step up training or any training at all. What would you suggest I do? I've had her for over two years and she's a really sweet girl.
Nicole Kinzel she might never act like a hand fed bird, but spend time with her every day- take her food dish away for a few hours and then see if she'll eat from your hand, let her spend time outside of the cage with you just in the same room. that's really helped my pair of budgies, though I don't think they'll ever be snuggly or crave my attention, they'll sing to me and climb on me when they want something from me now.
Just put your hand near the cage for about a week, then try inside and just leave it there to try to build a trustful relationship. I did that with my GCC and he responded pretty well and after a few weeks was eating right out of my hands. just take it slow and show her there's nothing to be afraid of.

Both are black capped conures. Pineapple is just a color mutation.
David Brown they are actually both greencheek conures, black capped is also a color mutation
Actually one is a black cap conure(Jupiter) and the other, (Mango ) is a green cheek with the color mutation:pineapple.
