One time in Bandcamp I stuck a flute in my pudding.
I'm working on an open to the oublic FPV & RC Park. It will be a three hours and forty minutes straight flight from Philly to DFW in Texas, then a two and a half-hour drive from DFW to my land for you @bothrinder I plan on building a home there one day, but there is plenty of land. Flat and open for race gates maybe, trees for forest ripping and diving, also trees ready for obstacle placement wherever, and if it ever becomes of interest, my best friend runs a business that acquires and parts out cars to sell parts on eBay. He holds the shell of them all until he has hundreds when they bring large bulk value. This means stacked cars and trucks with open doors, no windows, or vehicles stacked like a house of cards to rip through as well as cars stacked half a dozen high. Occasionally he jas busses and RVs. No real planning yet, but once I get on it, I hope to have an FPV & RC South Park. RC Crawlers and bashers welcomed openly. I am also going to attempt to get my property set up as a FRIA just in case they wanna make examples. For everyone else, from Dallas, it is a 2.5-hour drive. From Austin, it's about 5 hours. From Houston, it is about 4 hours... Oklahoma City about 5 hours... Little Rock about 3 hours... New Orleans about 6 hours... It's about 45 minutes from Texarkana. I doubt electricity will be avaliable initially, so keep that in mind. Also, tents, campers, and vehicles will be allowed for sleeping and working iut of. The property has a small pond with trees around it as well as a creek the length of the property, but has treed canopy over. Regardless, even now, untouched its rippable. Hopefully by this summer or fall it will have much more FPV and RC appeal. @grimripper

The "bobble" sounds like pilot induced oscillation from elsewhere in aviation. There's a loop between stick input, machine response, feedback, and correction. Any latency in that loop leads to a tendency to overcorrect, so your attitude starts bouncing back and forth.
Completely agree with style differences. When you’re only DJI you don’t know anything else so it just feels normal. But I absolutely fly differently on DJI compared to HDZero. DJI is more purposeful like bot said, also I feel like I need a “setup” move rather than just sending it on HDZero.
Dude fuckin fixed wings are the shit!!! I still love my quads but something about a constant high speed and not being able to pull out of gaps last second adds a new level of rush😂

Metal makes zero $$. Did it for a long time. Lead guitar during the post hard-core scene erra. Played a million shows, toured, I can probably fit in one testicular how much cash I made. I made a country record for the hell of it. Went on tour. Made $500 a night personally singing and playing acoustic. Plus it's easier on your body. Country music is where it's at if you wanna make $$

FPV wings rule! Also, fixed wing shouldn’t require a FC.
They don't need one, but it's nice to have. I love using autolaunch on mine as well as various features related to GPS, like return to home.
@@r1m.s877 oh yeah I’ve got wings with a fc mostly for the RTH. I meant fixed wing shouldn’t require a fc to fly well. If they do that’s a bad airframe. I wasn’t clear earlier

FPV guys trying to fly what are meant to be LOS fixed wing planes thinking they can handle it just because of their quad experience always end in a DISASTER. Learn to fly LOS FIRST, THEN try slapping FPV equipment into a fixed wing. Ya'll always get it backwards. I got 30 years of flying RC and instructing, and also a full scale instructor. You simply can not translate the feel of fixed wing from a quad by just slapping a camera on it! We get SO MANY FPV people trying to waltz into our club thinking they can handle fixed wing...only to always end up in a wreck. Zero concept for flaring, stall prevention, turn coordination, etc etc. You can't learn that in a quad!
I started out on quads and went straight into fpv wings before learning how to do LOS. I had a few crashes but you would have those too if you were learning how to fly line of sight. You also have to consider that with modern links and video systems you're going to be flying much further than you would LOS so it's really a whole different thing completely. You can catch on real quick switching over from quads only if you do your homework and don't just send it...right away at least 😂 I've had minimal issues once getting the understanding of things like inav and auto launch.
Flying quads, flying rc planes and flying real planes are all separate skills. I have flown all these and little of the skills in one translate to the other.
At our rc field we will get real pilots who got interested in flying rc come out with some expensive warbird as their first plane and without any sim time. They figure that they know everything because they fly real planes. Well the skill doesn't translate. You don't have time to figure out what control to move when your flying. It has to be instinctive.

As freestyle pilot that flies DJI O3 only. I have no idea what bobble Grim is referring too.
So Grim if you can show me on one of my videos (minus the first 2 as I was a brand new pilot and one is with the DJI FPV drone lol) that would be awesome. If this bobble exist I want to kill it. That said I really think you are wrong lol
When the O3 first came out they were notorious for a bobble that was traced back to 2 main culprits. #1 was an issue where a lot of the cameras had lenses that were either loose out of the box or became loose shortly after flying/light crashing. The other issue was related to Rocksteady where the gyro data was really dirty if some quads were flying on anything other than 48k PWM frequency in their ESC's. At least that is what I think you/Grim are referring to. I believe both issues have been fixed by DJI afaik but I generally fly 48k PWM freq so that might still be a problem.
@CantFly_FPV this is a possibility however he was referring to all DJI systems as if to imply the higher variable latency to analog makes DJI pilots hesitant or lack confidence.
My reply is, look at my flights or better yet just think of PhantomFPV lol

I do agree with, you im not a both side are the same guy as they have wildly different policy's (or lack thereof) what i meant was both sides are beholden to corporations and lobbyists as far as the long term.
