How is soil analysis related to AI? I thought you would mention something related to predictions of future deficiencies but all the explanation was about a lab analysis that it has been done for decades. Its efficiency and accuracy have improved significantly, but I thing AI has little or any relation to this. I might be wrong of course, if that is the case please share your source.

My take is that AI would be used for producing actionable insights based on the soil analysis which would then be given to the farmer. They would also make specific recommendations based on specific soil types.
Pros of using robots for fruit picking: - Lower cost - Less food wastage (Robot will pick fruits before they overripe and rot) - Robot can pick 24/7 - Less environmental impact - Greater quality of produce as robots make less mistakes in picking than humans

Depending on your experience level, I would advise looking into universities in your area that have an existing agriculture department, then you can approach them with an idea to use AI. Depending on what kind of research you want to do, you might have to get a supervisor in the computer science department and agriculture department!
