I live in japan and regularly go to used game stores just today i picked up shadow of mordor, shadow of war, zombi and mafia trilogy used for 400 yen ($2.70) each. Used switch games though are generally 2000 to 5000 yen though. Ps5 also cheaper than switch. But something does feel satisfying about gaving that cartridge compared to a disc.
@@SENATORPAIN1 This pawn shop is super sketchy. I think they make most of their money lending money to poor people at 28% interest and the physical product sales is a formality.
Thank you for putting me on to the Berserk game, just found it at a GameStop for $43. Haven’t walked into a GameStop in probably 5+ years. Can’t wait to play it.
I think we been in the sweet spot for Ps4/Xbox1, for a few years. Also we are entering the spot where it seems like xbox 360/ps3 games will start to go up in price. One of those games going up is Blue Dragon, its going for about $60-$100. When I remember seeing that game for $10.
Love collecting for the PS4. Have that Berserk game , I love it! I am bummed though cause I passed on Godzilla at GameStop twice back when it was 35 bucks.. was hoping it would go on sale 😅
Yes, now is the time! I had the same thought and I've collected more than 50 PS4 games (a lot of JRPGs and budget titles like Streets of Rage and Tetris Effect) in the last few months to go with the 30 or so I had. The prices are only going to go up from here. Plus, the PS5/X Series X generation has been disappointing so far.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Trying to get ahead on some of the more expensive titles on PS4 before they go astronomical, like Godzilla already has. I figure it'll be easier to pick up the cheaper common games later on.
I search gamestops pretty thoroughly and none of the games you mentioned are at any gamestop I’ve been to. I also have honed in on these exact titles for the past two to three years with no luck.
@alexsmith6914 🤣 Oh wow just off the top of my head!? Ummm I'd keep my eye on... Nights of Azure 1 and 2, The Lost Child, Onechambara Z2 Chaos and..... Wipeout Omega Collection.... I'd keep my eye on those personally.
Interesting video, I have a digital copy of Berserk but the physical one is cool, damn! Something i see getting rarer is shin megami tensei 3 nocture, probably
I just grab a few games last night. I got few played on Psn plus . But never finished b4 removed or put on plus extra. You got to buy if see it cause many don't have the PS5 upgrade
Kagero is the second game in the series, the first is Tecmo's Deception. I remember playing Tecmo's Deception shortly after getting my PS1 and having to trap and steal the soul of a guy that was in the castle to find money for his sick daughter. Kinda lost the stomach to play it after that one. What I'm looking out for: N.E.R.O. (roughly 20 sales of this one total per year on ebay), Demon Gaze II, Deadpool (no idea it got this expensive!), Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness, Generation Zero and Monstrum.
It's a good time. Despite some dropping prices, people are still feral for Switch games. Anything multi platform is usually much cheaper on the PS4. Plus a lot of once expensive games have been driven down by reprints.
Agreed, they made Sekiro disappear here in my region, It was nowhere to be found, used copies went for 45-50 euros, then lately new copies came out in stores after years
Personally when I collecting physical. I look for the best edition possible, such as steelbooks or special editions. Just having a general case is not enough
Street of Rage 4 brand new was only like $15 dollars on Amazon. A used copy should not be $34 dollars. I got most of my PS4 games this past year and most of them were on Black Friday. The most expensive game was $29.99. Any game over $30 dollars is not worth buying.
no we have not. We never will because these games can be played on the PS5. I think we need to wait until the PS7 generation before we get to that point. I do have a massive PS4 collection which are on my channel but I do not think this will happen for quite sometime so do not worry about the sweet spot. We have not got to that point yet. As for the consoles. Now is the time to get a new PS4 slim if you can still find one.
GameStop sux. As we used to say back in the day "support your local mom and pop shops". Everyone talks about Blockbuster and their nostalgia for it, but it was the corporate guy that shut down the smaller mom and pop shops that were a much better experience. My 3-D Video when I was a kid, each genre had its own theme, the horror section was even dimly lit. Corporate b.s. kills local businesses, businesses that sometimes are a little more expensive, sometimes, but you actually matter to them and they work with and take care of you cause you're their lifeblood. I don't know because godzilla on the ps4 was delisted in the Playstation store so you can no longer buy it digitally. I found a copy a few years and I was to install and play the game
That's not true, you can disconnect the internet and download it from the disc, it just takes longer, & Sony has to compete with loading times using an SSD
Gravity Rush 1 and 2 are crazy expensive in my area as well.

I got Ghost Of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete edition for $5 each at a pawn shop the other day.
That is pretty darn good

Ghost Of Tsushima for 5 bucks is a steal lol
Absolute steal

I’ve been collecting hard for the ps4 since I got my ps5. Majority of the games you listed I got from GameStop under $10 with in the past two years
i had the limited run version of Blasphemous!!! that one is a piece of art!!!!!!!!!!!
Love collecting for the PS4. Have that Berserk game , I love it! I am bummed though cause I passed on Godzilla at GameStop twice back when it was 35 bucks.. was hoping it would go on sale 😅
I found a used copy for about $50 or $60 about a few years ago and I still didn't hesitate to pick it up lol
I love berserk. Finished the manga recently. Definitely need to get that game.
Ive been scooping up so many great games for 10 to 15 bucks
I think we're past the sweet spot, the less common older games are starting to get expensive.

Calling it on these two, because they're so forgotten.
Earth's Dawn and Assault Suit Leynos both on PS4

I was thinking of picking up some of the spiderman games on the PS3 and some were more than $85 at the time of this post
Wait the clearance price of that was $34?
Interesting video, I have a digital copy of Berserk but the physical one is cool, damn! Something i see getting rarer is shin megami tensei 3 nocture, probably

Fist of the North Star for the PS2 was one of the better fighting games.

You got some heat!!!
Transformer rise of dark spark like $45 dollar game at GameStop saw last week while picking up Deadpool on ps4
I never knew that there was a PS4 version of the Amazing Spider-Man 2! That's crazy.
Yeah it during the ps3 and ps4 time in 2014 I don’t think many people had ps4 til 2015 /2016 when they became $200
Amazing Spider-Man 2, TMNT, Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark, Deadpool... Notice a pattern? ACTIVISION Licensed Games that is all.

Odin Sphere was unfortunately (for collectors) reprinted now by VGP
Good. Media preservation FTW!
I have the collectors edition for this. PS4. Better to have than standard. Of course, collection wise
Gravity rush 2 is selling for 60 to 70 on eBay

I see you.
Ps5 is good to collect for I don't even have one yet but my brother does I regularly see games for a fiver in UK and PS4 version is much more
Xbox one?
They need to remastered fortnite (joker) the last laugh
Digital sux lol
Weve hit the end, games on PS5 aren't coming to ps4 anymore

Good luck finding rez infinite... Gamestop doesn't carry it.
Aren’t physical PS4-games just glorified hardware dongles though? You know, because half the game still has to be downloaded from PSN anyways?
