Prophet Harun AS was the brother of Prophet Musa AS. He was his younger brother's spokesperson and became a loyal friend during his preaching.
It is said that Prophet Musa AS was not very fluent in speaking. He had an older brother who was more eloquent than him, Prophet Harun AS. Therefore, Prophet Musa AS prayed to Allah to make Harun AS his friend in preaching.
"And make me a servant from my family, (namely) Harun, my brother, strengthen with him my strength, and make him an ally in my affairs, so that we may glorify You a lot," (Q.S Thaha: 29-33).
