I had already purchased my item online and saw this video before I went to pick it up and I sincerely want to say thank you for showing us about the stitching. The one they tried to give me at the store had SUCH bad stitching I could see me entire hand wave through the sewing. The lady had the audacity to tell me they were all like that and it wasn’t until I kept pressing her did she finally give me a brand new one. Sometimes they will try to sell you an item previously used and so forth so I appreciate you for taking the time to share this knowledge.

I love this item the versatility is amazing! I bought the Damien ebene print in 2016 but I’m not in love with it anymore. So I’ve purchased the monogram one now I’m waiting for it to come in the mail. I use it to hold my keys and my cards especially running errands. I’ve never used a wallet again. Love how compact it is!
Omg I used to own the Damier Ebene print too and sold it to get the monogram one!! 🤣 over the years collecting LV, I’ve found I much prefer DE print in bags and the monogram print in SLGs. Seems like we have the same taste 🤣💕

One of the reasons I got a Monogram key pouch was to see how I liked the print. I had always seen myself more as a Damier ebene/azure kind of girl, but I love Monogram now!
Me too!! I think for me, I prefer Monogram in small leather goods and smaller handbags and the Damier ebene print in larger handbags. Both super pretty prints though ☺️💕

The cle is crazy strong. I only have had mine for a year or so but seeing yours after 5 years is amazing! Agree with your points on the cle. I have also noticed differences between cles where the stitching is not as tightly sewn. BTW I also keep eyeing your Chanel mini square in the background 😍

Just got a second hand damier ébène version to use as a coin + key pouch. I wouldn’t use my monogram one as such l0l .. I actually use it as a charm most of the time with EarPods in it or cards x

I’ve had this Cle for a while now & only have my car key remote in there. It’s so bulky & I don’t think it’ll fit in the 6 key holder. I love this piece so much ❤

Stumbled on your great review. I’ve never been a LV fan but bought this some months back because I needed a coin purse and i saw it on the site in grey/black mono silver hardware (I don’t like gold). Mine doesn’t line up but I’m ok with that as the color I have is no more. Also just checked and the price has nearly doubled 😮.

Aww keep trying client services to see if they can put your name down on a wait list! Or if stores are open in your city, see if you can place an order directly with an SA. That’s what I did with the mini pochette. I was able to place an order - I had to pay up front but my SA was able to order it for me and I got it within a week. Keep trying and you will get it eventually! Good luck xx

I love this wallet, however it’s easy to rip when I was younger I got my moms old wallet it was the key pouch. It literally had a huge rip after a year of buying.

Do your bags get dusty on the open shelf? Ps. Would keys scratch the pouch? Or do you put the keys inside the pouch?
Unfortunately they do - but I guess that’s the price you pay to have a pretty display 🤣 but it’s honestly not that bad because I like to rotate my bags every so often. Or I just quickly dust over them with a microfibre cloth every once in a while ☺️
No issues with keys scratching the pouch. The canvas is really sturdy. The only scratch I’ve seen over the many years of use is in the metal keychain.

I was lucky enough to get 2 online but I’m planning to return one. Unfortunately both pieces aren’t great but I want to keep one since they are alway oos. Which one would you keep? 1) made in France, canvas doesn’t line up and canvas feels thin. 2) made in Italy, stitching at the seam isn’t tight, can see some holes.

Hmm out of the two, I’d probably say the second one made in Italy. I feel like the thin canvas and the canvas not matching up on the made in France piece would bug me every time I use it/look at it 😅 but honestly, I wouldn’t settle if I wasn’t completely happy with one. There will always be another and they seem to be restocking it more frequently lately since the demand isn’t as high.
What are your thoughts on the Rosalie coin purse?
It’s cute but I’m personally not a fan of the curved envelope closure. I prefer the sharper look like on the Victorine wallet. But I think if you’re looking for a small, compact wallet, and don’t mind folding your bills, the Rosalie is a great option and it’s priced fairly reasonably too ☺️

Oh no! It should be okay. If it’s getting to the point where you feel like it may fall apart, you can always take it into an LV store and they can inspect and possibly repair it. I’ve heard a lot of the newer ones aren’t as tight or aligned due to high demand and not undergoing the same quality checks to meet those demands 😮💨

Heyy i need to pick ur brain please. Mine is about 1 year old and I have always stored it in the dust bag when not in use, but it developed sort of awful smell i just found out. When i googled it seems this is quite a common issue. Any tips on how to get rid of the smell?? :(

I haven’t experienced this before so I don’t really know for sure but I did some research and it said you can try leaving it out to air out the smell, or try putting it in a container with baking soda around it to absorb the smell (not actually in with the baking soda, but near it) if that makes sense 😅 try Googling for examples! Good luck!
I just purchased one online from LV. I just don't understand WHY we are checking to make sure that everything is matched up correctly. Well I know why, it's because it's just too common to get a piece that is not stitched correctly or crooked, etc. But regardless this should not be happening. We have to check the zipper, the alignment, etc etc. We pay so much for these items. It should be PERFECT EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I do! I used it for a solid 5 years. I’ve put it aside for now to give it a bit of a break because it started to show a lot of signs of wear but I still think it’s held up super well given I used it everyday for 5 years. I’m currently using an Orbitkey organiser for my keys while my 6 ring is on hold and it’s a great alternative if you’re looking for something more compact ☺️

It’s NOT CALLED THE KEY CLES. That doesn’t make sense. Cles means key in French . So, when you say key CLÉS you sound silly , because you’re essentially saying key key. I’m a former LV leather artisan and a native French speaker. It’s called. a CLÉS pouch or Key pouch. But not key key. The website specifically has it labeled as “ Key Pouch.”
