Wow no mention of her beautiful daughter who passed away less than a year ago? Especially when they spoke about the Elvis premiere she went to..I think Lisa's emails to Sophia tell us how she felt about her mother's movie, as a daughter who loved her father very much. Father time has a way of bringing out what is inside and now visable to be seen. Rest in peace Elvis, Lisa and Benjamin.💐💜

This is how Lisa Marie felt about this film that Priscilla was executive producer of.
Before her death earlier this year, Lisa Marie Presley expressed shock and horror over the depiction of her father Elvis Presley in the script for Sofia Coppola’s new film “Priscilla.” Described in two emails obtained exclusively by Variety, the late Presley asked Coppola to reconsider her vision for the character and to spare her family public embarrassment. The messages were sent four months before Presley suffered fatal cardiac arrest in January.
Presley’s messages called the script “shockingly vengeful and contemptuous,” and contained pleas to Oscar-winning director Coppola to refrain from straining her fragile relationship with her mother - the film’s subject, Priscilla Presley - as well as bringing scrutiny on Elvis’ living grandchildren as they continue to grieve the loss of Lisa Marie Presley’s son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020.
“My father only comes across as a predator and manipulative. As his daughter, I don’t read this and see any of my father in this character. I don’t read this and see my mother’s perspective of my father. I read this and see your shockingly vengeful and contemptuous perspective and I don’t understand why?” Presley wrote in one of her messages. Both were sent in September of last year, roughly four hours apart.
“Sofia there is one more thing I’d like to add,” Presley concluded her second note to Coppola. She shared an anecdote about one of her young twins, Harper Lockwood, who was sent a trade announcement about “Priscilla” going into production.
“I had to explain that we are going to have to endure another hit in our lives. That there is going to be a movie about her grandfather that is going to try to make him look really, really bad but it’s not true. I had to explain that her beloved grandmother is supporting it. These two little girls have been through so much in the past 7 years, enduring my divorce and horrific custody battle and then losing their brother. We’ve all been drowning,” Lisa Marie Presley wrote.
Lisa Marie never lived long enough to see this horrible film.

Robert Kardashian was going to marry Priscilla but he took Priscilla to dinner and she had Asparagus and Robert Kardashian hates Asparagus so he dodged a bullet. She made Lisa Marie Presley go to boarding school and join Sciencetology and her granddaughter's. Sciencetology is a bad place as my eldest son and I went to their Sciencetology in Beverly Hills/Hollywood to see Jenna Elfman from Dharma and Greg and it felt uncomfortable and I've moved since then and Sciencetology keeps sending me pamphlets about Sciencetology and I've seen documentaries about Sciencetology and Leah Remini talked about Sciencetology as well. Their biggest supporters are Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Priscilla doesn't deserve to be buried at Graceland either. Priscilla Presley has ICE in her veins. IF she was so close Lisa Marie Presley then WHY didn't she know when Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson were married for 2 year's and their music 🎶 videos were AMAZING as she loved Michael Jackson but worried about his addiction. I can't stand Priscilla Presley as she was asked to change her last name back to her maiden name but NO Priscilla Presley knew she couldn't make it without the Presley name to be FAMOUS. That movie was anything but sensitive to Elvis. Well done on trashing a legend. People close to Elvis have come out with the actual truth. It’s a total redemption project for Priscilla. Not worth the watch.
There's hardly a person, except for sadly, Lisa and Jerry Schilling who would tell the truth about Elvis. Most others betrayed him to the fullest extent. So "actual truth" has to come from someone who did not betray him or I have no use for what they say.

Riley did the right thing at the time. She said, "to the extent of my authority" she can be buried there., but....Riley is only one vote. Graceland has a board of directors and with Graceland turning their back on Priscilla's movie and Riley having taken over, I doubt the board will ever vote to allow Priscilla to be buried at Graceland. They had to shut her up initially , but she won't be buried there.

Never saw one real shed tear for her daughter Lisa in public! Elvis this Elvis that and she left him in 1972 (50 years ago) they only lived together 5 years of their 6 year marriage after her adultery with her Karate teacher Mike Stone. She moved to Los Angeles and took Lisa in 1973 at age 4 same year they divorced. Lisa only visited Graceland after that until age 9 when Elvis died in 1977. After many more relationships she lives with Marco Garibaldi-Garcia 20 plus years and they have a 36 year old son Navarone Garibaldi-Garcia (Lisa Marie's half brother) many had no clue he existed! She was going by her adopted maiden name Priscilla Bealieu (She was born Priscilla Wagner) after the divorce and soon took Presley back! Then in the 80's opens Graceland as a Tourist attraction! I was a teenager when she was cheating with Mike Stone and left Elvis in 1972. He was no saint but his name made her wealthy later!! I remember it all like yesterday!

The movie "Priscilla" lost Millions. It's a disaster box office wise. Obviously Priscilla will be out hawking interviews trying to make some of the 20M she herself invested in her movie. Graceland didn't support it, nor would it allow Elvis' music into the movie. That turned out to be a good choice on their part.

Priscilla seems to be doing some good things. She needs to stay out of PRESLEY business. She was divorced from Elvis 50 years ago and has been with many men while she was married to Elvis and afterwards. She also was with Msrco Garabaldi Garcia for at least 22 years and they had a son Navarrone. My understanding is that Priscilla went out of the country to marry Marco.

Just saw the movie. It was horrible. Horrible acting as well. I much preferred Elvis and Me featuring Susan Walters and Dale Midkiff. They both portrayed their characters with dignity and grace, even when some of the circumstances were anything but. I think people are naturally curious as to why the King of Rock n Roll (who could have had anyone, including many of his female co-stars and celebrities) chose a quiet, shy, teenage school girl to be his long time girlfriend and bride. I am sure there were a lot of things that happened in her time with Elvis, that Priscilla chose not to disclose. Regardless, bought the book, seen the movies, I'm done.
Elvis did not "choose" to marry Priscilla, he was told by the Colonel and Priscilla's father that he need to marry her. He didn't want to get married. Listen to the telephone call that sneaky Red West taped without Elvis' knowledge. He says he didn't want to marry her.
What you and everyone, including Priscilla always leave out is that Elvis left Germany not long after meeting her. Only saw her occasionally even while there. Saw her once when she went for a brief trip to LA where he was making movies and dating. Also in Germany he had a girlfriend, plus others he dated. Never mentioned. She arrived in Memphis to live with Vernon at 17, having had mostly phone visits with Elvis, and on into Graceland later in senior year. Most of this, by dates, are in her book. Other things I've picked up from books and people who were around. I couldn't stand the TV thing from her book. It made Elvis look like a sour, brooding, unhappy man. He definitely had his moments but mostly he was a hoot, wonderfully nice and a voracious reader.(The hanger's on books are useless for money. To the end, (to now) that's all it was/is for them). But more than that, I have never been able to find anything sinister about him. He was truly a good, kind and generous to a flault, man. Sadly all but Lisa and Jerry Schilling went on to betray him. ALL had agendas except those two. Poor Elvis. But he is a beloved man 46 years after death. Speaks volumes.
