God I know this song... I swear its from Persona or SMT or Digital Devil Saga I can't quite put my finger on it.

hm gurdd tree hit combo has bigger crits 1,5 -2k, byt u doing well. very nice to watch
Black orc does alot more damage than SM atleast I think so. but SM does spirit damage and has a parry buff. I also don't have the best item sets for damage unfortunately.

It absolutely is. same with all tanks to varying degree. SM is probably the best solo tank or the 2nd best

@@becket4373 It's been awhile since I played but I think in 6v6 ironbreaker is better than SM, though they bring different things to the table. IB brings some really good single target buffs.
If you're going 2h SM they won't have a single target knockback so you'll have to rely on your other tank to do the punting which sucks.
@dagothur6739 you can knock other tank it even better. But dog sm deal is insane almost third dps.

I unfortunately have quit RoR and probably for good. I was going to make a send off video with an AM, but I ended up not liking AM much
Vaul's Buffer is a very nice defensive tactic indeed. I think you will even be better with Crimsonwind (+10% avoidances with at least 50% uptime) to proc the tactic, but you lose some crit chances yes.
Btw, what are your renown specs ? Did you spec defensively (full parry, full disrupt, 3 anticrit), or crit chances as well ? I think the survivability takes a big hit as soon you invest into crit chances, so I presume it's only stuff + Balanced Accuracy for crits ?
I had 3 Futile, full parry about 2-3 Disrupt and i put the rest into strength. I was also thinking of crimsonwind but I didnt want to lose out on the 5-6 weapon damage/6% crit as well as it not stacking with eagles flight. (atleast I think it does not)

Most assurdly, every tank can solo atleast okay. I have heard IB has some alright burst and it helps that those stunty bastards are incredibly durable. you can probably look at this video czcams.com/video/TSrApkvm9vI/video.html for IB inspiration. SM I believe is the best tank in a 1v1 while IB is way better in 1vx

I wish this can be still doable. A) nobody solo these days, not even WEs. B) not even 400hp regen build save me from deftard WEs, dps shamans, super stiff maras. Only way Iam satisfied with damage outpoot its with GWM+ FO. Otherwise I hit like wet noodle even with sov/war/triumph gear.
yeah Regen Witch elves and dps shamans are fucking ridiculous. I've personally never had an issue fighting any defensive marauder on my SM personally. Regen meta is just not fun at all, of course the devs won't do anything about it. godspeed SM

@@dagothur6739 as someone who has returned to this game after several years, what do you think they have screwed up? From release it seems like its in a much better spot. I can see where they have buffed a few things in the wrong direction but the overall balance feels closer to correct.
@@dagothur6739 I agree, they shouldn't prolong anything. It should be easier IMO. This game can go poof at any moment, no one wants to grind a game like that. Plus if you want to keep players making it easier to get to the "end game" would help.

get etherdance, get vauls buffer. I think you need renown 60 or 70. get the pieces of warlord with regen on it. get regen items. that's about it really

Don’t get me wrong, this was great to watch, and high elves for life! But this is why I don’t play this game anymore. The gap is way too steep. Tanks, DPS, and healers that have the gear and skill that basically makes killing them completely impossible.
