I’ve had this one and another where every time I zoom into a planet that is in a group and zoom back out the camera is ‘re-centered’ sometimes far from where I was zooming in. That has been disorienting and aggravating me to no end.
I think that you can "fix" this by flying from elliptic plane. I suspect it triggers when system map has to be turned during zoom in. UI object is not fixed to camera and also turns. Just a guess, though.

Something tells me one of the VR fixes in this update bled over and became a non-VR glitch.

Mine has just gone black and is now killing the game and giving me an error message on the ps4
