- Volkswagen Polo Suspension Repair | Steering Rack, Shocker Mount & Jumping Rod Bush Changed
So this video is focused on Volkswagen Polo, there was lots of suspension noise in the car while going over pot holes... We checked the car and found that there was lots of play in the steering rack, plus shocker mounts were worn off and compressed and jumping rod bush were cracked as well.
Therefore we changed all these.

In Imphal we don't have any dealer for VW so it's a very hectic job to search a good experienced mechanic plus a genuine parts for VW. Hope you can set up a good servicing centre only!!!
Hi Nakul, Have you centred the new steering rack and locked the steering wheel in straight position before installation? Otherwise there wont be equal turning radius on both sides and car would drive very dangerously.

Stearing rack is at pretty low cost when compared to Swift. When I asked for Swifts rack they said its around 16k

steering rack and steering column are two different things. column is expensive.
Brother, I went to VW showroom, they quoted 18k for steering rack, 6k for lower arms, 9.5k breakpads change.
Amazing transperency brother, you helped me save close to 15k just by watching this video.

but problem ye hai ki mai 1 rs v kharch karne k mood me nai hu.
karan :- main first servicing k time pe ye baat batayi thi service walo ko.
unhono ye kah k tarka diya mujhe ki 3 cylinder engine hai thodi modi aawaj aati hai idhar udhar se.
but ab mamla had se aage badh gaya hai.
meri gadi abhi service station pe hi hai.

Hi nakul, the steering rack we have placed is it original ? Because I procured the original for the vento in 15000 rupees without GST

Ther is nothing like local n original , OEM n aftermarket ,both are good

Yaar the Guwahati VW charged me 95000 for Steering rack change and ECM change. My vento was not starting and there was sound with the suspension. The sound problem is still there with all the money I have spent .. I wish your shop was near my place yaar! I am pretty disappointed with the VW service since then.

Hey hi good info, i have 1.2 TDI polo 2013 model, i have changed the timming kit but after that while driving in 3rd gear near speed of 40km/h some noise occurred from front wheels, can u pleae help me out to discover it

Could be 4 things majorly...
1- Alignment is out...
2- wheel balancing is out
3- some defect in tyres
4- some problem in suspension

You mentioned 2 address sector 45 and 52. If someone wants to change that part. Vo kis sector may hoga. And denting part kis sector may hoga.
Everything related to mechanical repairing & denting painting is done at sec 52... Anything related to audio, accessories and customisation is done at sec 45
