The drummer is clearly living her best life -- and it made me wonder how long it's been since I was *that* happy about *anything*. And I realized it was right now, watching her drum.
Yet another song that I should not play in my car if I'm driving. It makes me want to go +50 beyond the speed limit.
I can hear you, the solution, start using the cruise control LOL - I play Band-Maid every time I drive my car, it's on auto repeat and I change the CD every now and then 🙂
If I was ever a wrestler, I would have absolutely asked BAND-MAID to play this live for my entrance at WrestleMania.

392.000 Subscribers, try to imagine how many Rock Fans all over the World haven't heard anything about Band-Maid yet.
We the Band-Maidiacs have to work hard to spread the word. I just recently found Band-Maid myself, I have no idea why I didn't find them earlier. I found Rolling Quartz right after their first single release "Blaze" in January and started to listen to them, saw comments and got suggestions on YT about Band-Maid. I didn't click at first, why I don't know, but finally I did and I'm totally in LOVE with Band-Maid and bought their entire catalogue. They are an awesome live band and their music is just great, they yet have to write a mediocre song, they are high quality for sure.
I keep trying to get Rick beato to do a video on band maid, yet he never does. He talks about how Rock isn’t what it used to be and how we need young bands that sell out stadiums. And here is band maid, yet he never covers them.
Wish we could get Dave Grohl on board .

General costs 2500 yen, which allows you to watch the live stream and its archive for 3 days or until May 13. While the archived one, costs 3000 yen and allows you to watch the archive for 2 weeks. @@yitzu48 Yes, of course it was polished in post production and it was not flawless (e.g. before the last chorus) but she has improved massively as a singer. And polishing in post production is different from altering the voice with autotune and other effects.

Warning! is at 668K views. It's hardrocking metal song played live by Band-Maid. MISA plays cool bass. Akane's drumming is phenomenal. Kanami is shredding on her guitar. Miku plays hard while singing. Saiki's vocals are bringing us the lyrics in a powerful way. Warning! was released on the album Unseen World in 2021.
The only miss in this performance is the audience. I wish i can see them live.

You don't need to read the manual (magazine, religious, or any dogma manual) - there is no joy in that; simply use your geniune intuition, and you'll be there, you will find, you will meet the BEST. To be precise, even BETTER than the BEST; and you could find only one, and that is BAND-MAID!!! LIVE FOREVER BAND-MAID!!!

Well, they have announced a USA tour in 2022: nothing finalized yet, but pray this does actually happen. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll be coming to Canada on this tour (although we’re seriously hoping and praying…) so it looks like we’ll have to make a cross-border jaunt!

To navigate in a dense fog, just head towards the sound of Sai-chan's vocals. It doesn't matter where you were going initially, because this is a much better destination!
I've often watched this video wishing that the camera would chill out for a second and let me focus. However, I've recently come to a realization: the camera can't settle on anything because there's just so damned *much* happening. All the members are contributing at full throttle and if you stop on any one of them you'll definitely miss four other totally kickass things. So I guess what I'm saying is that my heart goes out to whoever had the mountainous task of putting this together.
Yeah they do that to add energy to the shot, but with Band Maid, it's completely unnecessary...
Would be cool if some video uploading site would let the viewer do their own camera control.
But this does jump around too much. Of course you can cut more often- maybe even split second cuts, but that should be specifically done differently just at certain parts for effect.
See, the people cutting this probably love every bit. Like we do. They don't want to leave anything out and try to show everything. But it's not like the "Snyder cut" where you can just not cut anything and oops now it's 4 hours for the hardcore fans... it's about 4 minutes 15 and that's all you get. So the way to "add" time is to make the cuts shorter and shorter and that's not really a good answer.
The end product is worse than if they just sat on the best shot for 4-10 seconds, then moved on to the next best shot for 4-10 seconds, etc.
BAND-MAID is my favorite band, but Neo Japonism is my favorite idol group. They also do lives with multiple cameras that are then edited together as best as they can and uploaded. They're far less popular than BAND-MAID. But the editing just feels so much more pleasant. For one thing, I think they actually choreograph the main camera ahead of time so it's basically already part of the performance and knows where to wander to get the next best shot without having to cut very often which seems like a better way of doing it.
It's why I won't watch another live show. The shakey cam is annoying as Hell. So is the audio and video being out of sync. No real excuse for that.
Very strong singing performance from Saiki, sounds as good as on record.

サイちゃんのこの声の張り方とこの歌詞をこのスパンで歌うのは最高に難易度が高いですね。私、カラオケ🎤で歌いました。・・・苦しかったです。ブレスしてる暇が無い。消費カロリーが半端無い。でもBAND-MAIDの歌ってこの曲に限らず全般に難しい。

その通り。バンドメイドの曲は難しい。楽器隊ばかりに注意が行きがちだけど、さいちゃんの進歩は凄いし、ボーカルのスタミナにも頭が下がる。mvよりも声がパワフルで表現力が上がるのも流石。メイドの日のボーカルパフォーマンスは凄かった。

I love bands whose vocals sound as good in real life as they do on record. Japan is good at this and Band-Maid is a good example of that vocal quality.

Sometimes I watch this video just to witness how good Akane is.
I have noticed that in his live performances the sound of the kick drum is not heard well. And it's a shame because he does an incredible job. You can compare it to the official video of the song. Here it sounds darker and muffled, it is difficult to hear the double kick. They should improve that.
Played better live than the studio version. Mincho is turned up a notch and they must rehearse relentlessly. Then there's the amazing smiling goddess Akane. This is the best musical act on the planet today.

Maids rock hard - I recently did a 6 hour road trip with all 8 of their albums on repeat, and never got bored. Some things I love about bandmaid performing, other than the great music...
Saiki: Dancing and the always in motion right arm
Kanami: Rock star stance , retching her way around stage, and the too cool for school facial expressions
Akane: The never ending wide open smile of joy while she pounds the drums into submission
Misa: Head swaying, grape stomping, and the rare smile
Miku: Bouncing to the beat, swinging the pigtails, her yells and screams and background accents

When I was 14yrs in 1969 we were learning Summertime Blues, Inagadada Vida, White Room, Evil Ways, Born On A Bayou, American Woman, Purple Haze etc...today's 14yr olds have to learn Band Maid, YIKES!!!!And we all new these girls could dish out the *live* fire again. Stay healthy and safe Band Maid!!! (Oh if I may say , there were no youtube we had to learn and play by ear...torture!)
With the different live mix I’m hearing new (clearer) stuff again, especially with Kanami and MISA’s parts. And of course, the best part is we get to see Akane’s smiling face clearly while she’s happily drumming without breaking a sweat.
The engineer for this needs to mix all future work.

I have recently discovered this band. I am not kidding when I say that these women bring me to tears. I can’t even explain how brilliant they are and why they elicit this kind of emotion in me. I have been playing the guitar for 59 years and precious few musicians have affected me like this. One of the reasons why they affect me emotionally is that, even though they are singing in a language that I will never understand, they have impacted an old man’s life tremendously-and they will never know it. I found Band Maid about a year ago, and have listened to them almost every day since. I haven't felt this way about a band since I was a teenager in the 90's worshipping Iron Maiden. I have enjoyed many great bands since then, but none have elicited an emotional response in me the way the maids have. They are now my favorite band of all time.

Man, I'm 54 and also since the 80's I didn't see any light at the end of the tunnel until I met Band Maid, I'm really glad we have that same feeling.
Right on Brother! I'm 65 but was born in Japan and I can understand the lyrics. All the J-LadyMetal bands have wonderful uplifting lyrics as compared to the old hairy, sweaty, leather-clad shit that came before.
