What Happened to KIX After the Clone Wars? (The Last Clone Trooper) - Star Wars [Updated 2021]

- With the Clone Wars coming to and end the Empire choosing to phase out the majority of Jango Fett Clones as part of Operation War Mantle, it was a very rare sight to see Clone Troopers around the galaxy, and especially after the battle of Endor, where Captain Rex served. There was however one clone that survived far longer than Rex, and sadly went on to become the last ever clone trooper, after being frozen for 50 years. So, lets break down how Kix became the Last Clone Trooper in the Galaxy.

A Very short while after the Battle of Anaxes, where Kix fought alongside his brothers in the Bad Batch, the Clone Medic began to get very suspicious about the true nature of Jedi Master Tiplar’s killing, at the hands of Tup while fighting at Ringo Vinda. After holding this suspicion in his mind for days, brewing deep inside of him, Kix began to conduct an investigation into the incident and eventually discover that his Brother fives may have known the truth behind the killing. Taking the investigation further, Kix was able to uncover the full truth behind the inhibitor chips, and discovered that they were implanted into the heads of every single Clone of the Republic, with the primary goal of eliminating the Jedi with Order 66, but also to maintain full obedience to the empire.
Unfortunately for Kix, his investigation into the inhibitor chips didn’t go unnoticed for long, with Count Dooku very quickly hearing word of Kix’s search for the truth. After finding out that Kix’s knowledge of Palpatine’s plan was far greater than they ever expected a Clone to discover, Dooku immediately ordered his separatist droids to kidnap him as soon as possible, to prevent him from going to the Jedi with this information. After his capture, The separatists employed extreme torture tactics during their interrogation, and tried to figure out whether or not he had spread his discovered about the inhibitor chip to anyone else inside of the Republic’s military. Kix however, maintained his strong resolve, and refused to hand over any information to his interrogaters, even while enduring horrific torture. Because the droid interrogators failed to get any useful information out of the Clone Medic, they knew that they needed to transport Kix directly to Coount Dooku himself on his homeworld of Serreno, for an even more intense interrogation, this time with the help of the force. Following this, Kix was then placed aboard a separatist cruiser called the Obrextra III, where he was frozen and placed into a deep slumber in a cryo-stasis pod, freezing him alive until his eventual arrival on Serenno.
Only moments after this, the ship took off from it’s port and entered space with the droids on board being given only two orders. Return Kix to Count Dooku on Serreno, and Do not let Kix fall into republic hands, and … Tragically, only a short while after, the Obrexta three was ambushed by Republic forces, not knowing that one of their own men was on board. Because the ship had just exited the atmosphere of the planet below, it’s shields were down, leaving it in a terribly vulnerable state, and allowing the Republic navy to almost completely obliterate the cruiser. With the loss of its primary engine, and fires raging across the deck of the ship, one very brave and defiant B-1 battle droid named B-1CC14 made the shocking decision to disobey his direct orders from count Dooku, and send the ship into hyperspace in a completely random direction, without doing any calculations at all, and with complete disregard for the state of the ship. B1-CC14 chose to do this because he believed the Order to protect Kix outweighed the Order to bring to Count Dooku, and therefore disobeyed the first directive. - Zábava

Yeah but most likely one the most favorite within his unit due to his position as a Medic.
I want to see a story where Kix meets a 60-year old Omega who tells him about everything that happened after the Clone Wars. From the inhibitor chips, Order 66 and the Bad Batch to Rex and the Rebellion. I want this poor dude to get some closure and maybe feel relieved that Fives efforts were not completely in vain, in that at least a few clones could free themselves from their chips. Or if he gets to meet Ahsoka or anyone else from the Ghost crew he could maybe feel a some pride that his close friend Rex, Wolffe and Gregor continued to fight for the republic, even in old age.
Perhaps that could be the last episode of the bad batch. 2 of the 3 last clones alive. Each as different and as human as any one else

I'd think Kix would have terrible "survivors guilt"---you know, feeling terrible guilt that he's getting to live a life while all his brothers are long dead.
But I think he would be happy when seeing Rex's grave and knowing that he made it as well.

This is such a sad sight to see, having all your brothers who you fought along with in the clone wars long dead many years ago and thinking that he had failed to save all the jedi and the clones. This is a hard thing to witness

I want to believe since the crimson corsair was with the resistance during the time of ep 9 since he can be seen on exogol fighting the final order , kix might've also a part of the resistance and could've either reunited with R2 at the resistance base and could've met anakin's daughter leia or couldve even fought on exogol to battle against palpatine one last time.

Idk if that would make sense in the current canon. They mention they no longer have enough OG Jango Fett DNA to make more lines of clones and if they could use clone's DNA they probably would've

This means that there’s a good chance Kix was at the battle of Exegol seeing that Sidon Ithano was at the resistance base at the end of the movie. So that means he was part of taking down the man that ruined his entire life

I hope he learns that Echo and Rex were able to resist Order 66. Two of his closest brothers... I think he would feel slightly uplifted to know they fought on the right side.
Maybe im taking this a bit too seriously, but Kix’s first step shouldnt be to join a bunch of pirates, but to go on a media tour of the galaxy to get his story out via the star wars equivalent of the talk show circuit. Next, he should have publishers lined up to write a book about his story and experiences. That dude doesnt need to resort to piracy, he can make a fortune just telling his story, especially as the last living clone from a bygone era. DO IT KIX, go get a book deal bro!

His character was criminally underused, especially in that Raxus episode where he barely even put up a bloody fight against helping a SEPARATIST, the same people who took his very humanity away for good... He had about 2 lines of protest and then went along with the mission. I fail to see where his character dev is at all. Please do enlighten me where he finds that its best for him to stay silent so that it's "best for Omega" because I surely can't see that anywhere in the show at all

The sad truth is , that also IF the Republic forces knew Kit was aboard they wouldn't come to rescue just "one expandable clone" No one told anyone that Kix that he has information that could reveal a danger secret :(

Honestly we need a Star Wars game, where you play as Clone trooper, and the mission is to safely tell the Jedi how the chips work. Every time you get moved away for being "Crazy" you fail the mission. I think that'd be such a good thing

Star Wars The Last Clone.
I love this story, but I’d prefer if it took place whilst a few other clones (hopefully Rex included) are still around so Kix didn’t feel so sad.
God the more I think about it, the more I realize that the Star Wars television/movie series I want the most is one based around the Crimson Corsair and his crew and their adventures throughout the galaxy. Just the idea of an Indiana Jones style of story in the Star Wars universe is so appealing to me, and it'd be a necessity of the show to put a character emphasis on Kix, the last clone trooper in the galaxy who's also part of the gang.
This is sad, but it's pretty cool that Kix is the last clone.

4:04 I think the character in the background with an all black stormtrooper helmet may be Kix. I tried to translate the writing on the helmet and I think it says “FEAR.” But I’m unsure with the last letter but the first 3 letters are “FEA”
They should wake him up early in the bad batch maybe mid way through the war when there are only a few hundred clone defectors left.
