Spurs fan here, really fun game to watch a shame defense doesn’t get enough love cause this was some amazing performance on defense by both teams, denver look like a team in a game 7 (awful shootin on 3 ms and ft) to rush and excited, Jokic missing like 5 shots show his all about business mentality, I honestly see denver and Jokic winning more rings but they need luck to stay healthy (specially Murray and mpj ) and to keep their wings defender (happy for Gordon and Jeff and Bruce and for ish and for deandre) Jokic just keep surprising me more than anything the dude just keep playing at a crazy pace for 40+ min gettin “hunt” in the pick and roll and joker still find a way to recover and fight for the rebound, seeing bam and Jokic compete was a blast, the scary part is the joker for me is getting better at truly reading the game, and at defense he is way underrated, even so i still think he is gonna get better at that end, (several drives that Jokic was mad of not helping or contesting) anyway a truly pleasure to watch Nikola, Congrats denver fans, some will not give them credit but meh, enjoy and dream about the potential of future years,

Tbh I would've been happy with either team winning because both were considered "underdogs" for a while now, but the Nuggets played as a complete team this year. It seems like each player improves over time, everyone brings something to the table, and not only is Jokić one of *the* best basketball players, but his mentality and quiet, somber demeanor are a treat to watch.

But anyone who did not think this team was a favorite (and there were many pundits who didn't) needs their brain checked. Their lineup is stacked front to back. Honestly they remind me of the 2017-19 warriors with steph, klay and KD.
Congrats to the nuggets honestly, if they stay healthy they should have a great shot at repeating.
As for ole Jimmy Buckets. A good run that once again comes up short.

Not only did Denver beat the Heat but they also beat the refs. That 3 point foul call that wasn’t overturned even with the challenge was the most atrocious call I’ve ever seen

What is most remarkable is one series with LA was only four games and this series was just five yet he still has 600 points! He is first in history in points, assists and rebounds in playoffs. No one else has ever led in all three categories in the playoffs

The ""foul"" on the Jimmy 3 is literally the worst call I've ever seen. T'ing up Timmy for laughing was more defensible.
I think they are paid for what they were doing. They would get fired when they would not do these kind of moves. Look at the game vs the Lakers.
For years the refs are carrying and helping Le Bron. But thank God that even didnt help them vs the Nuggets. That makes the sweep even more sweeter.
Jokic would have another triple doubles only if they shoot with normal FG%, especially their 3s....and of course, he did not give a dame unless it is a W! And shooting with 75% in the NBA Finals is just mind blowing.

The refs always try to make Denver lose but they just can't . Denver is too good. NBA should be investigated for corruption after that so called foul on Butler on the three point line.
Take a deeper look at all the corrupt challenges the refs made helping LeBron. It's so deep, all the big media is also in on it. You never see them shedding light on the disgusting corruption, because they are part of it as well.
But happy that their lies and corruption didnt stop the Nuggets. More than well deserved win.

Every point and rebound being a hard win over serious defense brought in by versatile offense - didn't know they still made em like that. Hope that wasn't an outlier. If it was however, these teams will be right back here next year simply because there ain't going to be any serious competition. Denver, Jokic - everything has been said I think, true champions and the current yardstick for the game.
