Have A GOOD DAY
Whenever u hear this guy's voice it's lingers on forever about something explained in 30 seconds.
Did you just get a heart after 3 yrs. too? It’s funny, I was just listening to the song “Tie a Yellow Ribbon”. Seriously. “It’s been 3 long years, do you still love me…” Lol. Perfect timing!
That's all, $250,000? This masterpiece is well over 1000 years old and in perfect condition.
He paid her $50,000 cash
$250,000. Saved you over 6 minutes.
thank you for your Intense
in the video
Lol🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣
Meat Trademark Thanks.
Meat Trademark thanks. I will stop watching
Bless you!
Why the narration? Show the live tape!
❤❤ next time
you could have showed the clip instead of rambling on.
Really. I kept fast forwarding hoping to see the actual appraisal. Good grief!
Anna B The actual appraisal is on utube. I just watched it.
Thanks! I just found it.
Even better, the original clip is HALF the length of this pre-digested still picture drivel version!
You should have played the clip ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Whats more amazing than the value of the statue.........the fact that the video feels like 25 minutes long when its only 6.44!!!!
I was regretting clicking on this tedious video until I discovered the comments sections and goldust like yours
The juice was definitely not worth the squeeze
It has only been 5 minutes so far?
or you could watch the actual clip, 3 minutes
Damian Morgan s
By the time the narrator finished...
the piece rose in value by another two centuries.
All we need now is a narrated version of this narrated video describing the events that took place in the original show.
Drrrrrraaaaagggg ìt oooouuuutt. Please get to the point.
I was actually disappointed with the price which he really appraised at 150-250 thousand dollars. Being from the Tang Dynasty 618 AD- 907 AD and in perfect condition I had thought it would be worth much more than that. Just think how many centuries have passed since it was made; to remain in perfect condition astounds me.
Deemaree Dubois Oddly, objects are often not worth a great deal more just because they are extremely old.
That's just the appraisal…like an estimate. The Navajo blanket that was appraised for 500K (I think, I could be off on appraisal) sold for 1.5 million. Auctions are hard to estimate because so any factors are involved.
It's a Fu Dog. Take a gander at some Fu Dogs and compare.
Origin of the Lion probably derived from the Royal Tomb as Mascot. Shud be in Pair as Guardian. Price varies a lot depending trading circumstances. Fit for Any Museum.
Queen Bee I understand but I just thought that rarity on top of age would have made this particular item worth so much more. The appraiser was practically shaking with excitement never thinking he would see such an item in his lifetime. If the owner decides to sell it, I hope we will have an update on what it sold for. Maybe there isn't a strong market for such items but when such rare items are found, I always hope a museum buys it to ensure it is taken care of properly and so it is displayed where thousands of people have a chance to see it up close. Thank you for your response. Have a great day.
Thanks for sharing. Come find your rare or specialty antique treasures in Marion, KY!
keep watching thanks for ur reply 👍😍
Should have taken it to Pawn Stars 😂
this guy likes the sound of his own voice.
Sometimes I feel you drag on and on.Get to the point plz.
I agree with you...blah,blah,blah.
Get to the point!!!
Yep
Mariah Cox no kidding
Mariah Cox and show us the original footage
Exactly and don't narrate the show if there's a video clip (that's where you got the pictures from) we're smart enough to figure out what they said...roll video.....geeze. (why I don't subscribe).
Boy, you've got that right! I could do without all the background as well...just show the amazing clip.
Why not show the clip instead of giving us a run down of the appraisers life history, plugging the various action websites he runs
if only the story was as captivating as the title 😏
Please don’t repeat the same information over and over. It becomes boring to listen to a repetition.
Agreed. It's called 'PADDING OUT' the piece. A total waste of resources.
LS Like listening to politicians.
The way he was carrying on, all choked up over the lion I thought it would be worth over a million dollars 😒
If it had been valued at a million dollars, then this prolonged video would have felt worth it. There are PENNIES valued at over a million, yet this absolutely perfect marble sculpture from over a thousand years ago is worth about as much as a middle class house. Kind of disappointing. Click bait.
Paula Tristan .. me too!
Complaining over the appraiser sounds ignorant... How much money do you people have in the bank?
Stupid Appraiser, should have told her it was only worth $1, then offered her $10 for it.
👍
Bloody hell! It took all that time to tell us bugger all.
This guy SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED! And I enjoyed telling him so.......... and then I posted the REAL link to the REAL appraisal........ talkative narcissist-idiot
F/Forward to 5.15 - your welcome LOL
👍
I did. Thank you.
Your a gem
You're**
Finally the gem of a comment I always look for in videos like this...
I see you tube has stopped us skipping the adverts we've got to watch the whole thing can't skip them anymore after 5 seconds.
I hope she took the Wal-mart price tag off the bottom before dragging it into the show.
👍
250k seems very, very low to me.
agree
Wwe
You talk too much before telling us the story
👍
another irritatingly voiced overly long drawn out presentation
Too much yapping, I just skipped to the end!!!!
Eric Van Eck is
Lana Medcalf lol. They had to make the video go as long as possible but they had so much crap, like who cares
Would've been interesting if we saw Mr. Mason GETTING all choked up, as you enticed us with your title.
James Robiscoe
I would have like to see that as well.
James Robiscoe vvv
I was expecting 30 million but to be 250.000 is a bit of a waste of time
👍😀
who cares the value? its from the 6th-9th century .. the years 501 - 899 AD. what else on earth remains in this condition, from that time ? whole giant pyramids + stuff, not individual sculptures.
@@MrSimondaniel3 that's strange there is nearly 9000 terracotta soldiers chariots and horses that was found in china, all life size of course. These date back to the 3rd century 210-209 bc so there goes your theory. Ps sorry for late reply
Much more meaningful to see this personally rather than a narrative. Shocked at how low that price is from the Tang Dynasty. Was expecting $3 to $4.M for the estimation!
What a spectacular piece of history!
No one want you to narrate! Just play the video!
Omfg I've never been to one of your videos before, but Jesus dude get to the damn point.
The Whole Truth and Nothing But swannanoa girls pegging one guy who is me im ready now i got pop rocks in me and my toys
I went cross eyed listening to him talk.
keep watching thanks for ur reply 👍😍
lol...he kept answering the posts in the chat with 'thank you for your Intense' when he meant 'thank you for your Interest'....lol
Totally pointless video without the actual clip.
Geez no one wants to hear the appraisers life history just get to the point
I usually skip close to the end to get the value.
Agreed
that clip reminds me of all the herbal medicin , rambling on for 20 minutes with testimonies, when I want to know how it works.
thank you for your Intense
in the video
Bla.. la... Bla.... Blaaaa.. blaaaa
Beautiful and Amazing! I am really into Asian Art and Culture. thanks for a great vid. liked :)
I love antiques roadshow but this video sucks!
Loves the sound of his own voice!!!
Literally the whole video:
1. "the guy choked"
2. "tang dynasty"
3. pricing"
keep watching thanks for ur reply 👍😍
Just be happy it isn’t in an awful robot voice
...or Sarah Huckabee...
That lion is ZOZO the demon of possessions! That's why he was coffing!
Nora matuszewski Hi i LIKE YOUR doggie❤
pieces like this one belong in a museum
😀
In summary: Lion was appraised at $250,000. It is old and from China. The owner was not aware of it provenance or the meaning of the various symbols on it. She was happy to learn about her lion and it's value.
Omg - for tha love of GOD !!! get to the point!!!!!!
Call_me_Fame u7
Call_me_Fame HI THERE 👋
Call_me_Fame Right. The fuck
Cute!
For the love of god relax baby🐇
Good grief. Just show the clip already.
👍
@@WatchZozo 🖕
He was so choked up. I thought it may have been stolen from his grandfathers house 80 years ago.
😋😍
Too much talking. Just let us watch the appraiser!! This was junk.
Why doesn’t the Annoying commentator shut off his verbal diarrhoea and concentrate on the marble lion displayed.
@@glendin49 😍😍💕💕
250 thousand is nothing. I saw them appraise a half-table for several million dollasr. The owner bought the table at a yard sale for $25.
👍
@@WatchZozo 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Not interested in all the crap inbetween, please just get to the point of how much its worth.
👍
I choked up because of your rambling
i bought one just like that last week at Tuesday Morning.
At auction that may be the beginning bid. I bet it's worth lots more than
$250,000.
👍
I hope I never turn into such a dweeb that I get so choked up over a statue.
I'm just glad they put a big yellow arrow pointing to the said item.
Too much talking and talking to get to the point. Forward to the very end. It's worth $250,000.
That took entirely tooooo damn long
OMG waited for the clip!
The facts are spot on love watching and learning about antiques ! Good video
Just play the clip for gods sake.
How come most CZcams videos do this? We want the point, not to hear somebody talk about the point for 5 minutes.
🙂
I am just more in shock that a nation with such a short history has the 'Antiques Roadshow' at all. Lol.
This is the most innocent video I ever saw. Why the dislikes?
If you pick it up and look on the bottom it has a sticker saying Made in Taiwan.
Omg I fell asleep before the end.....dammit.
😊👍
Thanks for the nap!
OH HOW IRRITATING!!!!!!!!!!! SHUT UP AND LET THE APPRAISER TALK.
😉😊
$250,000 I just saved you a whole lot of wasted time.
abarronboy Thank you, kind sir! 😊
W
Good Lord, who writes this crap? It's like a precocious 6th grader's report.
thank you for your Intense
in the video
He will never change his style. He likes pissing you off by rambling.
wow I listened to the whole thing and I feel like I have gained the power to go do anything, like cry
keep watching thanks for ur reply 👍😍
Why don't you put out real videos? These slideshows are boring. I keep hoping for better! 😡
👍
Wow, i bet her grandparents weren't aware of this lion being worth so much. It's an awesome statue. _Nice video WatchZozo._ 🌻🌷🍀🌺👍
Sure they were aware, that's why the dirty bastards stole the damn thing in the first place!
sunny Stormy and a
sunnystormy * ... Probably quite a few $$$ in those days but not as much as today❗️
It was worth a lot more after the time it took him to chat through this video. Good grief!
If she had no other family to leave it to, should have willed it to a museum! Giving this was a clip from 2002, I hope he kept track of the lion!
It took 6 minutes to tell a 60-second story.
OH, MY..SO WHAT?ARE YOU TIMING YOUR TIME ON EARTH? SAVOR HIS REACTION AND THE SPEECH!
This channel like many others talk around the main subject until they get to the point. It's a waste of time and frustrating. If you read some of the other comments you will see I am not alone about the rambling on and on in the video
Ain't that just like America? Not able to come up with their own ideas for TV shows, they have to "borrow" from Britain's shows like "Antiques Roadshow" and "Who Do You Think You Are".
++Neil Forbes++ Everything about modern america is either stolen or "borrowed" from other countries and other cultures. There is nothing original there at all.
John Smith: Well noted. Cheers!
++Neil Forbes++ And, if you beat them at anything (not difficult) they'll bring in legislation to make it illegal then claim they invented it at least 200 years ago anyway and prove that theirs was bigger, brighter, louder, longer, wider, and better in every respect.
Americans are indeed sore losers. Look at what happened back in 1982 when Australia II won the America's Cup yacht race.....Prime example! America HAS to be the BEST at EVERYTHING and can't stand to be outdone.
Thats why I get so pissed when people paint over OLD antiques
The piece was estimated at 250,000 dollars...it took over six minutes to say that
Went off track and talked too much....
Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak JEEESUS, and no video, to make sure the person viewing hears every Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak
👍
Your response is the same as mine! This guy loves to talk - as soon as I hear his voice my response is always END!
Michael Mlinar I don’t know, I rather enjoy listening to his voice. It’s certainly better than those frikking computer voices! Now, *_that_* “voice” drives me crazy (which, some days can be a very _short_ drive! LOL!!!)
UNBEARABLE BUILD UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
👍
This guy used more words to explain this than what the Bible contains.
keep watching thanks for ur reply 👍😍
My grandmother who was my dads mother was chinese ameican indian and spanish had one of these statues she called it a Foodog .
👍
Had to skip through! Way too much yapping and hey buddy if you’re talking about the 600’s then it would be the 7th century not the 6th
🙂
Thank you. 7th to the 10th not 6th to the 9th. It bothered me. :-)
Dude it doesnt take 7 fuckin minutes to answer the question
Incredible piece and history of the appraisal...
Is that it? A perfect tang dynasty for $250.000? I'll get a couple for book stands
thank you for your Intense
in the video
WatchZozo I love this stuff and unlike those in the comments I like all the extra info you put in your vids so thank you
Listening to the narrative description of an event like this has a good deal less impact than being able to watch it. Was "Antiques Roadshow" footage not available for some reason ? Copyright issues, I'll warrant............anyway, pretty unsatisfying.
🙂
I thought exactly the same!
500 k fore a blanket? Humans are nuts
Er
I think these two people should hook up I can imagine the exciting dinner conversations they would have😂
completely lost interest after 4 min of you dragging out the story. This should be a 2 min vid tops.
👍
Greavous Skoger not only that but he should have actually shown the ACTUAL appraisal as SEEN ON TV.
Mason, Dynasty, $250,000
🙂🌹
I took some fountain pens to a local thing like _Antiques Road Show_ and the one I thought was going to get the appraiser's interest was a 1926 Parker Duofold Lucky Curve ring top. But no -- the pen that got the buzz was one I'd bought the day before the appraisal day, at an estate sale. It was a Parker 41 which I found digging through a shoebox full of mostly ballpoints. I could have bought the whole box worth for $5, but of course I just wanted the 41 (didn't know anything about the model until I looked it up when I got home). That pen ALONE was appraised at roughly a HUNDRED times what I'd paid (the actual appraisal range was roughly 70x to 300x, but I'm discounting the high end on the grounds that the pen wasn't "New Old Stock", a rarer color, part of a set, or had the the original box/paperwork).
OTOH, I took a different pen, a Sheaffer Snorkel, to the "Doctor Lori Comedy Appraisal Show" at the Home Show one year and that woman didn't have a clue. First she said the pen was from around 1910 (sorry honey, Snorkels were introduced in the FIFTIES) and then said it was worth about forty bucks. Well, toots, I know 4 guys who would beg to differ. Including the guy who did the restoration for me ($40 just for that in addition to what I initially paid). They all tried to buy the pen off me the same weekend, just on the basis of the nib (which isn't even gold, but IS a semi-flex factory stub). And one of them literally contacted me a few months ago and offered to trade me a pen which I KNOW retails for over $300. Mind you Dr. Lori also went completely gaga over a hand-tinted photo of Czar Nicholas II and family and told the person who brought that it was worth at least four figures. Okay, it was large, and it had some provenance. But it was still a hand-tinted photograph.... Yeesh. I wanted to tell that loon that her PhD in Art History does NOT make her an expert in all things -- and that saying "I don't know" might not make good schtick for entertainment value but at least would be the HONEST answer.... I don't care if she WAS getting her own TV show. She was completely bogus as far as I'm concerned and said to on her website....
I feel cheated, I expected this to be worth millions not a measly 250,000....
What a gip
