Awful PC Games: Ride! Carnival Tycoon Review

Rollercoaster Tycoon this is not. This is a stripped down, simplified version of what a micro-management, tycoon game should be. It's so stripped down in fact that it basically turns into nothing more than a screensaver after placing a few buildings on the ground. You can also sit in the big rides and watch them slowly spin in first person. I guess it turns into multiple screensavers, then. The thing to take away from games like this is tycoon-type games need a balance between overly complicated and laughably simple. Good gameplay will always be waiting for you right in the middle.

Carnival or amusment park,they are almost same thing.Only diffrent is amusement parks hasnt got luck games or tickets,but they have more objects than carnivals (or just for this game)

It's more like a poor man's version of SimCoaster and Sim Theme Park. The three games are almost identical in terms of gameplay styles and features.

RCT 1, 2, 3, Parkitect and Planet Coaster are the best amusement park sims. RCTW is crap, controls are horrible, but some of the rides look cool like the Gravitron. No train rides or water rides in RCTW yet.
