    Great reminder. Some days I go out to practice and come home feeling like I got worse.... 😂

    Aww your little pep talk at the end was EXACTLY what I needed to hear. The roller skating community on Instagram is such a welcoming supportive place, but even with the awesomeness I was feeling down about my own progress/awkwardness every time I watched my own practice videos back. It so important to remind yourself that everyone is at different stages of the learning process, and there's always more to learn! I'm done with putting pressure on myself to "make progress," when I could just be enjoying the feeling of being on skates. Thank you as always for your thoughtful tutorials and being such a joyful, relaxed presence I the skating community!

    I have trouble keeping the spin going. Like I can spin but only like 2 rotations.

    Ooh I’m excited for this one! I have been trying to incorporate spins while I’m spinning, rather than spinning from standing still

    For some reason I do a spin to slow myself and start skating in a different direction. The reason I am a little amazed is because I am a relatively new skater and that transition just came natural to me. I also don’t have a ton of room in my basement so my momentum is slow

    Ahaha your kitty made me laugh so much! Also so very true about being nice to others on the internet and outside. Especially women. Why are we so awful to each other? Why is it so hard to be part of something and have fun without any drama? Thanks for sharing another awesome video 😊

    What kind of roller skates do you have? I tried, without putting my rollerskates on, I tried with them doing circles but they just can't. I can't even move in a curvy motion when I have them on. How do you do this? Do you have some special rollerskates? Thanks!

    Do you have a recommendation for a type or style of toe stop that works best for artistic skating? I do jam skating (and use plugs) and also outdoor skating, but wanted to start learning to use toe stops for learning artistic techniques. Is there a type of toe stop I should be looking for?

    • @SJisReading
      @SJisReading Před 3 lety +1

      Artistic toe stops are pretty big, very bouncy, and often rounded in profile. They aren't too grippy.
      Her favorite is the round roll line toestop. I know the Crazy Bounce stops are pretty similar as well (big, bouncy, round). But I think you can get the job done with any bouncy toe stop that's big enough and not super super grippy.

    Don't the rolls damage the floor tho? I live in an apartment and it is not mine, I can't afford to destory the floor🙈

    • @ThatNicoleFiore
      @ThatNicoleFiore  Před 3 lety +3

      Ina Mk no, these are vinyl floors. They may damage real wood. But yea, that’s totally understandable! Some people put down a mat or boards to practice
