Original Frasier was fav show of all time, watched all 11 seasons multiple times … this new one is basic garbage … none of these characters have any sense of depth and the dialogue is not witty ….
Jesus, I wonder if the internet had been a thing back in 1993, Jane Leeves will be called just "psychic is her entire character" and "stereotypical English woman with no actual personality", Peri' Gilpin's Roz would upset all the "Wahmen haters" because she's a "boss b!tch" who's just a "Thot". I can't lie, you guys would have killed the original show... And yes, you would have committed the deadliest of all sins, calling David Hyde Pierce's Niles "just a Frasier clone" probably followed by ... I'm not gonna say it.
The person who wrote Eve's character had zero plan for her. We're supposed to believe a woman who lost her partner and is a single mom will be all sunshine and wisecracks? Did the producers of this show ever watch the old show, where Roz (who did not lose her partner tragically) struggled as a single mother, coping with the hormones and change of life? Eve is a damn cardboard cutout, not a believable character.
Out of curiosity, why did someone like you watch the original Frasier? it's a show with a really high quota of gay performers, hate to break it to you but this show was always "diverse".

This show has potential, just need to remove Eve and Freddie ... like what happened to Bulldog in the original Frasier.
The problem is that in the original Frasier it was the ensemble cast that made it great!!!! This reboot has none of that!!!
Rather than comparing it to the brilliant original, I’m just enjoying a lively show that’s picking up steam. Ensemble cast is growing on me.

This series ruins the original. I cant imagine Freddie growing up like that and niles son trying to act like david hyde pierce doesn't come close
