  • The Department of Defense estimates that each year nearly 19,000 active duty service members experience sexual assault and rape, otherwise known as Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Many MST survivors have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and may be eligible for the VA's service-connected disability compensation for PTSD. In this webinar, you will learn the required elements of a successful claim for VA service-connected compensation, common issues specific to MST/PTSD compensation claims, best practices for developing these claim, and practice pointers for working with survivors of sexual assault.
