I need to show my mom this video, she won't move out of my house
lol
Marco Watts I'm dead
Bruhh lol
Marco Watts lmao 😂😂😂😂😭
lol
I'm crying cause my moms kicking me out in a couple days and im so scared. thank you for this
wow this might be a little too late but, u should rent a room at first
Nydia Zeppelin how'd it go ?
How old are you ?
Nydia Zeppelin I'm single
flip acoin I'm getting kicked out in 2 months and i agree. I looked at apartments and I'm fucked lol. I can't afford a apartment child care and car note. The cost of living in Cali is ridiculous.
I would also like to add before you move out get things like plastic cups, paper plates, dish washing liquid, laundry detergent, mop bucket, Ramen, Can goods etc in bulk, prior to actually moving out. It can help save on the cost while you are actually on your own. That can add up and bite you in the ass later on.
Ashley Golden yes!!! I started a stockpile (w/ toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, hand soap, clorox wipes, etc) about two months ago for my new apartment and I know it'll save my ass when I move next month so I won't be stressed financially or mentally. I'll have more important things to worry about than purchasing small things the first few weeks I move in.
+ the key to buying things beforehand is finding the best deals and even couponing a lil
Ashley Golden great tips! I took a screenshot of it so I can keep it handy! Thank you! 💗
don't forget lube and condoms
Also go on Pinterest, they have so many Blogs about Apartment living and how to move in and organizing etc.
I lived with my parents for 37 years until they pasted away. My father from a heart attack and my mother from colon cancer. I'm 42 now and I still live in the same house. It's hard not seeing them anymore.
IamKayRenee At the beginning it was very hard. But as time went by it got easier. Time does heal all wounds. I did some remodeling around my parents house to make it look like my own. Now a days it's all good. I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking.
+Jay Lookie i sorry jay
+Jay Lookie Did you ever bring girls back? Did you have friends at the time? honest question.
VEGAN TERMINATOR Yes I had friends over but never did I bring girls over.
Jay Lookie damm u must be gay bro!

which is great considering how personal moving out or being kicked out can be.
thanks Lee. in a bind atm and need to move out on my own. definitely helps
free furniture on craigslist all the time!... just read descriptions carefully
I feel like the faster you accept responsibility is the faster you become an adult no matter what age you are. I swear I became the most happy when I became self sufficient. There’s nothing more fulfilling then listening to your self and supporting yourself. I recently just did a video on the same topic pretty sure y’all will like it. Much love ❤️
Thank you for this!
This is great! Thanks for the help
Thanks A lot you helped, I'm moving out soon in 3 months and I had so many questions and you answered them haha thanks , subbed 👌🏼
Great advice! Im moving out February (hopefully) and this really helped!
When I moved 1997 the only furniture I had was a sweatshirt that I used as a pillow. Those were the days! Good video. I will share with my teen daughters. Thanks.
Thanks for your advice 👍🏽
Thanks Lee! Great video
Thank you for the tips. I'm 18 yrs old and this is my senior yr of highschool. Im trying to get an apprenticeship in hvac which I will be finnishing up the course this year at vocational highschool. I'm currently trying to save up for a small pickup truck and eventually insurance for it. I'm fortunate enough that my guardians are allowing me the time to save up money for these things. Love the attitude brother!
Thank you 😌 This was really helpful !
kinda wish I had seen this before I moved out...I'm not necessarily struggling but being prepared would have helped greatly
i like you man you seem real relatable
Thank you for this video man. I plan on moving out in two weeks! I’m 23 years old I just need a room of my own I’m too old to sleep on the couch in the living room I have a full time job. I just feel it’s time to spread my wings and try something for myself. I’m honestly scared thankfully my best friend is also renting a room in the same place and that gives me peace of mind. Hope for the best though. Other videos put moving out down instead of giving tips to help those that see a lighter side in it thank you for that
First video ive seen that i've enjoyed on this topic! Thank you. super interesting and nice to listen to :)
One want to move out by next year, this helps!
Thanks for the advice, I'm planning on moving but I didn't knew where to start, now at least I have an idea.

***** Thanks Hotmonkey! I will also check out your channel tonight!
I can’t wait

I loved the video and the tips! I dream to live on my on for some time, but our culture here in Brazil is very different, is not so easy like I see in USA to find a job and is even harder to work and study at the same time while living alone, I hope I can do it. Your video was very inspiring, thank you for the calm and attention :) I'm sending you peace and love and happiness in your life. xoxo
Talita Stuart Cardoso Thank you so much! How sweet!

YOUR VIDEO WAS RIGHT ON POINT FOR A PERSON MOVING FROM HOME TO THE FIRST APARTMENT, BUT WHAT I LIKE MOST IS YOU TOLD THEM ABOUT THE SECOND BANK ACCOUNT, YOU ARE WISE BEYOND YOUR YEARS.
+Tracci Quartermaine thanks!
+HangingWithLeeTV u r cute and hot, i wish i could have kiss you. Love you yo
Thanks!
Thanks for these tips bro I need to really get my life together
Thanks for the advice bro. Im 21 and ready to get out, but didn't know what it actually meant.
great advice i'm planning to move out in a year or less
One idea I’ve been thinking about is working at a company-Wal-Mart, target, Best Buy, etc. some place that will allow you to transfer to a new area that way once you move a job will be waiting for you. Also couponing is a great way to save money while on your own! Good luck to you all
i cant wait
Great tips...
Thanx man! I'm getting on them years that I feel like sitting on my hands puts my mom in worst situations financially. It doesn't help we argue from time to time. Cause I'm afraid to tell her about how I feel about staying under her and how it eats me up. But I've decided to get a good job $10-15 an hour buy furniture, pots and pans , sanitizing essentials and go.
Helpful, thanks
Honest and practical. I like that. :)
CJ Munar Thanks!
just one sentence.....
love u my brother...
thanks for the general tips CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! COME ON!
thanks you really helped me! :)
this really helps! im planning to move out soon because i live in a small town that has little to no jobs to offer aha.
I’m 19 years old and I look forward to moving into my first apartment within the next 5 years or less!
I want to finish college first (which I will finish in the next 2 years I think) and get a full time job before getting my first apartment (I have a part time job rn)
Thx
I love cooking for myself :) inspires me to learn recipes :D
If you can light a stove.. If you you can just boil water... you can prepare anything. Cooking really isn't that hard.
such a helpful video
+LiloKaNiya T glad i could help!
thank you ! (:
thanks this helped :) I think the savings account is a good idea..
Such good sense! I love that you tell what we need, and don't run off on rabbit trails. (Ahem...female youtubers). Short, too the point. Very well done! Thank you!
Thanks! I try I try!
Why the hell are people disliking this video? This is gold!
So helpful
I sure Can't wait 2 leave for sure
Eshock Mason you say that now until
great vid i liked how the music went with what you where talking about. im living on my within the 2 weeks cant drive so I'll use a cab until i can start driving. also i might not ve living wherever i live for a long time cuz im currently trying to get into a job corps program. so what if its a short term living on your own?
Nice video bro!
i want to move out but i dont have a 1000 dollars saved.
I would aim for 1500 at the lest. if you are moving into a apartment you have to make at least 3×rent before they accept your request. depending on where you go you have to factor in start up or transfer fees for electric and water start up and all. if you can aim for 1500 or 2000 would help absorbed the moving complications. you thought need to make sure you can keep it up at least make enough for the bills. foods and gass is a unknown cost each month though.
thanx
Honestly depending on where you live you will need way more than that. At LEAST $4000
Shay Renae Secure a job. Put furniture on layaway. Save money. Start buying toiletries, pops, pans, dishes. Shower curtain. Make sure you buy a vacuum cleaner. Find a place that has a washer and dryer in unit. Be walking distance to public transportation if u don't have a car. Do not have roommates. They will destroy your experience and your learning curve. Good luck.
MEELO 14 damn! and this is why Im tryna move to Vegas! get a good job and be out
Advice is on the money 👌🏾
Thank you so much! I took almost a page of notes because I’ve been enabled all my life and I want my own life and independence! Gotta start NOW! Carpe Diem 😊
awsome video and tips=]
+abrizuela2691 Thanks! I appreciate it!
Im so sick of my toxic parents...thank you for this
Hang in there, it all gets better over time. Your relationship with them may also improve as you get older as well. Sometimes it just takes you moving out, experiencing life on your own for a while for things to get better.
i plan to move in 3 months at the most, i am thankfull that i got a mother "also is my boss" That cares and would help me, though atm im bickering about why i want to move. All in all im in a small town and she knows practically everyone. I make about 1200$ a month and the apartments im lookin at are around 500-600 depending on area.
great tips, it was pretty funny too.
marissaarlene thanks! I appreciate it
Finally a black man giving great advice that is useful to other young men. I'm glad I found your channel.
Mi to
I just turned 18 and started college last month. My parents are losing their house so I have to move out on my own bc they can't support me anymore. I only have a couple months to save and I'm scared
I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's scary but definitely know that everything will eventually even out. Just keep those goals in mind!
Hope every is having a fantastic day!!!
My goodness.....you are gorgeous. These were some great tips btw. I'm new to your channel and I love your videos!
I honestly can't wait till I move out, I'm 18. I want to be able to support myself and be dependent, I know I can be. I want a job asap and be able to do it while in school. Still in highshool. And sadly didn't graduate, but I know or sure I will this year. Most confident I've been of anything. I've been changing everyday to ready myself when the day I do move out. Like your channel and advice, I'll subscribe:) want to be able to move out by next year when school is over or if I'm making enough, hopefully move out before. I know it'll be tough at first but I'm ready for what comes ahead.
***** Bryan you're right! Moving out for the first time can be a little scary but it will all work out. I thought about it like this. "Everyone has done it, and they are doing just fine!" Good luck! I know you'll do well!
How did it work bro did u become suscessfull
I am a bit old to be here, but I need your advice!
I'm 23. I should be moving out around now.
Thank you for sharing your videos! I subscribe and liked your channel :)
Nice. Videos
thanks for making this, i still need to find a steady job. or career if im lucky.
in japan and china and in Europe its very common to live at home with your parents its almost unheard of for Japanese students to move out and have roommates during college. i want to move out because i hate Sandiego California so damn much i wanna move out to Norway or British Columbia but i dont have a car and my most important possessions would be my computer , altar , cloths and books. basically i need a job and to save up.
samurilip you can do it!
idk why everyone seems like they scared to move out while i wish if i could but my parents would not lemme move💔
Thanks man that was really helpful. Im planning on moving out just before school starts. My parents are opposing me leaving but i just think that is time to go. I have a well paying job and im about to start school. Any tips on how to ease my parents into accepting me moving out?
The thought of living on my own scares me to death hope I will be successful thnx bruh.
everyone here is talking about tryna get their kids to move out while I want to move out but my mom giving me a hard time
Did u move out? Lol
@@leonela3947 lol yea
House Phone rlLy? Haha do you have any advice?
@@leonela3947 budget lol dont spend wrecklessly because there is no one to bail you out if u do. I also recommend developing a bit of cooking skill, itll save money and keep u from getting fat (if you cant cook, the urge to order food will be too great for most people to resist) have your expectations together, youll spend the majority of your time working and youll be tired when you get home and all of those parties and activities you think youll have, you wont😅😅
House Phone hahaaaa damn thank you 🙇♀️
Thank you for this very helpful video, Lee. I’m about to get officially evicted from my parents house tomorrow. 😢❤️
I want to move out ASAP like today , but I got a get a job and all that ish first ! Idk if I'll be able to take more of living in a tiny ass apartment sharing even my breath .. I can't take it anymore ..
Lee - if you'd leave out the curse words...I could use you in my high school classes!! Great advise guy...thanks
I haven’t had a cooked meal from my parents since I was 10...I’m 22 now 😂 I either cooked or I starved
so where exactly get all of your furniture and stuff
Thanks for the video man. I have this issues where my dad is verbally abusive to my mom. My mom is in poor health so it makes it worse ( I'd rather not go into the details). I want to move out and get away from my verbally abusive dad but I also need to stay home to take care of my mom. I only have enough for a one bedroom apartment and idk what to do.
i think we both know what the best thing to do is.
your mom should be save.
unless you think your dad should be in prison, find another way to eather separate them or fix it between them.
you'r wise enough to figure out how to help your mom, eventho it sometimes seems diverent.
if you are grown enough to move out, you are grown enough to keep trying.
succes and i hope your mom gets better.
