As someone who has been through THREE residentials and known people DIRECTLY from Discovery Ranch,
I don't think people realize how traumatizing and sick residential/outpatient/impatient therapy programs can be. I would be crying as well and I DID when I found out I was going to one.
Its not just about "The program not dealing with tantrums" and its not just about "not having your phone". It is scary and terrifying and one of the worst experiences I went through. All I see is a scared girl who doesn't know what she wants, or if she wants life.
I can understand how she feels and I can only feel empathy and pray she recovers after going there.

Dr Phil needs to be put in jail and never let out until he experiences everything he caused these kids to go through. Dr Phil is a joke! He needs jail time!

shes got the mentality of a 3 year old.. I dont wanna this i dont wanna that 🙄🙄 i hope she figures thing out and gets the help she needs. her parents and family dont deserve to be treated this way, and she doesnt deserve to suffer this way. just sad that she cant open her eyes to the reality in front of her. the parents seem ready and they are better for that i hope it goes well.

These parents needed to grow a pair, years ago, then maybe their kids wouldn't be whiney brats. If you allow bad behavior when they are young, this is what you get when they're older. You can't be a pushover as a parent.
