The traditional Easter Hymn: Christ the Lord is Risen Today!
A very Happy Easter from us all at St Andrew's Cathedral in Sydney.
Warning- if you're going to sing along, we have this habit here of singing half time on the words ' Made Like Him - Like Him- We-Rise!' in the last verse, which helps reinforce the extraordinary personal implications of Jesus' Resurrection. (Just didn't want to catch you out.)
The day before churches were shut down in Sydney, we very quickly recorded, with a very reduced and socially-distanced St Andrew's Cathedral Choir, several well-known hymns and psalms. We hope to share more shortly. We hope that you find them all useful in this difficult time when churches are unable to meet.
