- Two pirate archaeologists digging in Jordan (filmed close to me on the beaches of East Anglia!) unearth a striking statue. They load it into their truck during a rainstorm in order to escape and become rich.
If they had known the significance of her they may have been a little more careful....

I found the original short story! It's based off "She Fell Among Thieves" by Robert Edmond Alter. I'm currently working on translating it into Spanish (for the first time!) as my final project for Literary Translation, from the degree in Spanish Translation and Linguistics, from UAQ.

The best one was a woman killing her partner with a frozen leg of meat then serving it up to the investigating officer. 😁

That explains the strange shape of the statue's mouth, like it was screaming.
So did the rain desolve it?
It could have been better at the end if the man they hit on the head came flying up the road on his motorbike and told the rest of the border control what they had done and they ended up getting nicked for attempted murder on top of losing the statue
no gas monitor or fall arrestor,no top man or secondary means of escape....im calling the HSE
