- In this part, we clear Day 2 of the China Operation.
Mission: Vampiric Demise
Difficulty: 6/10
Character: Panda King
The goal of the mission is to destroy the vampires grave and get rid of them permanently. We start off by learning how to fire off fireworks at enemies while Sly picks the nearby safe for more fireworks. Next we head to the second safe and defend Sly from vampires as he picks the safe. Afterwards, we head to a third safe and defend Sly from a much larger wave of vampires. Lastly, we head off to the vampires grave site and blast their grave with fireworks until we destroy it and complete the mission.
Mission: A Battery of Peril
Difficulty: 3/10
Characters: Bentley, Carmelita, Sly
The goal of this mission is to get a new battery for the team van. We start as Bentley and head over to the battery, but find out it has no charge. Next as Carmelita, we shoot Sly who has the battery on his back to try and defeat him. As it turns out this was Sly's plan as Carmelita's stun shots charged the battery. From here we dodge Carmelita as any more shots will over flow the battery, and head over to stabilize it. Once the battery is stabilized, we take it over to the van and insert it. Lastly, while the battery is linking up to the van, we fight off the guards and run from Carmelita until it finishes.
Mission: Down the Line
Difficulty: 6/10
Characters: Murray, Penelope
The goal of the mission is to save Murray. We start out as Murray and try to open a cable box for Penelope but find out it's a trap. General Tsao's guards then strap Murray to a rocket and try to kill him by lighting an extremely long fuse to blast him off. As Penelope, we use the RC Car to try and outrun the fuse to get to Murray, while shooting dragons and guards along the way. Once we arrive at Murray we stop the fuse and save him.

18:53 I like the fact how YOU the player has to stop the character you play all the time, Literally shooting the main protagonist and trying to stop him. It's a nice touch and cool twist of the gameplay i love it.
I get the feeling that Bentley is also angry at the general for treating Jing King like material possession just for being a woman. I love these guys sooooo much ^_^

You know, I used to think the Hopping Vampires were weird, but then I found that they're supposed to be Jiang Shi, which are basically Chinese vampires. The reason they hop is cause rigor mortis is still in effect despite being undead, so it's the only way they can move.
I always thought of Jiangshi more like zombies than vampires.
That bit where Penelope saves Murray from getting blown to bits should be more than enough evidence to prove why having her betray the gang in Thieves in Time was an idiotic idea.
If you're still around, I got a personal theory that the Penelope in Sly 4 *isn't* the same as the one in Sly 3 - Evil Twin Sister with the same name - Penelope Alana being the Evil one, and Penelope Beatrice being the good one. Evil Twin worked the skunk to capture the Goof one, and forced her to make various objects, or a certain turtle would suffer.
Has anyone else noticed the glitch that happened in this video, when it looked like Sly was invisible while he was talking to Pandaking?

In game cutscenes are good, but not perfect, so characters can land in the wrong place and make it quite goofy
Man, Carmelita is just so irritating, all she wants is Sly put away behind bars.
I know she's a cop and doing her job, but her obsession of capturing Sly is another story.
She might of been obsessed of capturing him since they first met at the opera house in Paris
Their relationship are like Batman and Catwoman but with the roles reversed.
It's this video that makes Penelope's behavior in the next game hard to believe. I am among the adherents of the fan theory that miss Decibel had something to do with it.

He was basically running a protection scheme
He wanted people to know what would happen to villages if they didn’t pay up.
As for this game, well, they needed a demolitions expert specifically for this one job, one where his role would be rather limited.
Also in China, fireworks were used as weapons, so being a traditional style fighter, of course he used fireworks. And it wouldn't entirely be out of place in China.
The enemy they are facing already knows that they are here, the vampires and increased security is a response to the Cooper Gang's presence.

Okay, would fireworks really work on vampires? Why can’t they use garlic or wooden stakes?
I don't think that they want to take the time or risk of using those. Besides, different vampires of different cultures can have different weaknesses. Fireworks involve the use of fire which seems to be a consistent weakness of both vampires and most other manner of undead.
Wrong type of vampire. if you try to do that method against a jiang shi, you would have ended up bitten or eaten. They're not like Bram stoker's Dracula.

Difference being Murray has brawler strength it came from lifting weights and street fighting those bosses and guards in sly 2 going on sly 3
