Da Vinci Bridge at Smith Pond Shaker Forest

In June 2018, UVLT Stewardship Staff and volunteers from Hypertherms Procurement Team built a bridge from a design made 500 years ago by Leonardo Da Vinci. This team completed the project in one day, including hauling all the lumber to the site deep in the NH forest!

no need to use screws or bolts for the main structure. The wooden beams can be attached to each other with simple sections and the weight will stabilize it

All the weight is on the two legs thougj it holds alot but its based off thise teo poles
