Dominion is a deckbuilding game in which you assume the role of a medieval monarch, building your kingdom one card at a time. The gameplay is similar to that of other games in the collectible card genre (such as Magic: the Gathering, or Pokémon), but has simpler interactions and gameplay. Dominion requires that players balance buying new cards with upgrading their current ones whilst keeping an eye on opponents' evolving strategies. To start the game, players are given seven Basic cards and three Victory cards, shuffled separately into each player's deck. In addition, there is a single Trash card, placed between the Supply and discard piles.

The action phase ONLY occurs before the Buy phase of a turn, this distinction is important even in the base game where the card HARBINGER would be OP if you could play it after buying any card.

Thanks! I played the game before long ago but recently got it for myself. It seems pretty complicated at first but I just need some examples before I play to understand it better.
