I'm 72 and wear all these items but sometimes tune it back a bit. For me, no bare midriff, no mini skirts, nothing sheer unless I have suitable garments underneath, no shoes that compromise my balance, no over-the-knee boots. Love my Birkenstocks, my Chelsea boots, my patent leather oxfords, my knee-high boots, and low rise Converse. I get lots of compliments and a lot of people, young and old, look at me and smile. I loved your video, hope you make lots more.

This was excellent, thank you! At 56th after years of illness and being at home, I want to change the way that I look. End up doing it for myself not anybody else. That’s the cool thing about being this age. You just don’t care about what people think anymore. However I’ve totally forgotten how to do it and I really appreciate seeing your take on it. Great video, Michelle! I just bought a star T-shirt to wear on Christmas Day - and it's funny, I didn't think about it being a bit rock chick but It's about the only design pattern I like wearing - and now I know why 😃. Also looooove Chrissie - I tried to style my hair like hers back in the day. I find leather jackets harder to wear these days, though - especially with the silver hardware. I think your suggestion of finding some with the darker, less prominent hardware is a great one. So many great nuggets in this video for us would-be rock chicks!

What’s your opinion on skinny jeans … my kids say “no” high waist loose cut are the in look. I always wonder if mature women should embrace the “in” look right away.🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi Cindy , it’s personal preferences with skinny jeans , I think they still have their place . I like to wear mine like Jeggings , often with over sized or loose fitting top or sweater . They look great with long blazers . Any top more voluminous or longer , perfect with a shirt worn out xxx 💕
