Adda with Chandrabindoo in Canberra

- The popular band Chandrabindoo toured Australia and New Zealand in August and September 2019. A program in Canberra (on 8 September) organised by the Bengali Cultural Association of Canberra (BCA) was part of the tour.
During their stay in Canberra Siddhartha De of BCA had an informal chat with three of the band members covering a range of topics.

Chhablamo chhara kichhu karena Chandrabindu. Bengalis are now degraded as understood from their liking for Chandrabindu like band.
Bangladesh band is better. See the songs of Nakul Kumar Biswas, "Sayaner Gaan" (Bangladeshi).

See the situation of Bengali younger generation. Please don't consider I believe in communal or provincialism. See in WB all officer positions are now occupied by non-Bengalis, all India football or cricket team no or practically no Bengali presence, in the ministry practically there is no Bengali minister, Bengali position in all India competitive Exam results is so bad - practically no IAS, IPS, Director, MD, Chief etc like administrative positions you will not find our presence. Bengali Young generations are not taking the hardship and pain to establish themselves in good positions at National level but have taken easy going casual life (in the name of creativity) of cheap singing and dancing with guitar or at the most make a shop at the footpath of Gariahat or Gatibagan. This casual easy going life must not be encouraged any longer because we are receding towards back positions.
Very wrong approach towards awards. First you accept at least in priciple that we must have to get awards. You are talking as if it is so easy to get award.

It is not at all an adda , I feel sorry for Anindo & Co . Third one even did not get a chair ! The host is not treating them as per their popularity !
They can try for some program to carry some social message to inspire and motivate others. Their creative energy should not be always for encouraging casual easy going lifestyle but focus on something to carry forward some good social messages.

For some time casual approach is required but it cannot be a way of life.
