Hello, friends! This one look familiar? If it does, that's because it's a revisit from one of my favourite past projects! If you haven't seen the Sapphire Walnut Bowl yet, here it is: • Woodturning | The Sapp... . I thought it might be interesting to try a lighter wood and a darker resin, and so I opted for Ash wood and a dark turquoise resin. The resin pigment wasn't quite what I was originally going for, but I was still very pleased with the final result. I just love how turning a square blank round brings out so many unique and unexpected patterns!
    What do you think, friends?

Love your channel and your creativity. If only you had a coring system so that you could core out at least one smaller bowl vs it all becoming shavings!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Really great work.. just curious, how long does it take to do the actually do the turning. Looks like a lengthy process. Outcome is definitely worth it

Beautiful! Great execution. BTW, what mold materials are you using? Perimeter and base materials, thanks!

Thank you, Don! And I get my mould material from Michael's craft store. Both are different types of poster boards; foam core poster for the bottom of the mould, and a plastic flexible poster board for the outside. So far, they've worked really well for me!
