I love Cronenbergs more recent films but this is what I've truly been waiting for. A return to the genre he completely revolutionized. His approach is so unique, so bizarre but also cerebral and clever. To see a new film reminiscent of his earlier work like 'Videodrome', 'The Fly', and 'Existenz.' I honestly can't wait for this.
Viggo and Cronenberg+ body horror is enough to get me, but add Kristen Stewart in the mix? She looks fascinating in this. After her fantastic work in ‘Spencer’, I’m glad to see she’s still doing bold projects.
Uncle David has finally come full circle. If this is the last film he makes, it will be a culmination of everything he's achieved from the beginning of his career to now. This will be one for the ages.
@Punishedplushv2 He shot the new "Crimes of the Future" in my country, Greece, and in specific, mainly in my city, Athens, in August and September 2020. And more specific, he shot some scenes in an old building in the center of Athens, which has an old movie theater used for projections for students of the nearby university. I have been there sometimes, and in fact, I was passing outside of it often at the time he was shooting the film (inside that building). The thing is that... I didn't know about it! If someone told me "dude, David Cronenberg is inside right now shooting a film with Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux, and Kristen Stewart", I would be like "wow...very funny..."! It was just so weird that he shot a film with all these A-class actors in my city, and in that old building that I've known.
Wow dude. This is going to be amazing to be able to see something like this from the brain and mind of this artist. To be able to be in a world with the tech and artistic ability to convey what they are thinking and wanting and sharing it together. Can't wait to experience this film.
Anything with viggo is a must watch for me. Have been a big fan since a history of violence, eastern promises and Hidalgo. All classics because of his performances in those movies. Also I’m not sure of a little indie series most people haven’t heard about probably called king of the rings or something. Emperor of the rings? The names is slipping my mind but it was okay.
It's a new age human centipede, taking us and science to a new place.. Cronenberg is a Genius, im glad they let him take this where it needed to go. Too many films are dulled down and commercialized. Lets see him do more movies that were sheleved after this blows up!! 💯 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 🐛 🪲 🐞 🐛
I find it hard to believe that this is going to be in the theaters.. the normies will lose their minds if they accidentally wandered into this one.. LOL
Wow, this looks great. Even crazier that David Cronenberg actually did the film "Crimes of the Future" back in 1970, and he's doing it again, but he said this one's completely different...not a remake or anything.
This reminds me of a book: "A Planet Called Treason" by Orson Scott Card. (Also sold as just "Treason.") One of the nations on this planet makes its money (and power) by selling body parts to their enemies. And the protagonist is a "radical regenerative" -- a mutant whose destiny it is to be a mass of limbs and organs. Unless, something changes.
That’s interesting you say that because I just saw the trailer for David Kronenberg‘s movie Crash, which reminded me of an Orson Scott card short story. I can’t remember the name off the top of my head, but it had a similar plot line. I wonder if he’s a fan of Orson Scott card?
Pronto vi e é só isso mesmo, bizarrim. Nada de mais. Outro pra lista de filme bosta que faz algo idiota, bota uma boa fotografia, uns seios no meio e chama de arte. Vão se lascar...
Smacks of running out of ideas. IMO Cronenberg’s best body horror work is when it was weaved into the narrative such as The Fly and Videodrome where the body horror organically developed, no pun intended. Here, from the trailer, it’s all about the body horror… and nothing else. Hope I’m wrong
Immediately going to be on my personal "Wtf did I just watch" list .
Yep, this is definitely a Cronenberg movie.
Finally women can have pockets, regardless of what they're wearing.
What the hell did I just watch 😂😂😂
Exactly
You guy should watch Dead Ringers, if you want an intro to this director.
I know I feel like my mind has been turned inside out 🤣🤣 I’m still reeling from it
I see Viggo, I click.
I agree.
I am deeply uncomfortable in so many levels... but I'm intrigued so I'll watch this.

This is one of those movies I won't be eating during
Cronenberg just needs to make the next Hellraiser
People couldn't stomach it and walked out the theater..., Me and my popcorn 🍿 sitting til the end 🤣
Croneberg, a all star cast and a weird premise, what could go wrong
Everything .. everything can go wrong.
@@AnilAsokan Can't be worse than mixing your DNA with a fly's DNA
Cronenberg does it again
David Cronenberg is a legend when comes to making body horror films, can't wait to see this.
Viggo and Cronenberg+ body horror is enough to get me, but add Kristen Stewart in the mix? She looks fascinating in this. After her fantastic work in ‘Spencer’, I’m glad to see she’s still doing bold projects.
Stewart is one of the least charismatic, boring actresses of the last 20 years
What an interesting concept! Definitely gonna see this
I simultaneously can't wait and never want to see this
Any advice on how to trick my wife into seeing this with me?
Tell her, this is Vampire love story 😝
Tell her it's a Tom Cruise movie and a sequel to Minority Report hence why it's called Crimes of the Future.
Tell her its a love story
She'll think your secretly a serial killer if she's not into this stuff. I know I would.
Can't friggin wait, finally something original
I equally am excited and terrified to watch this! I'm not a big fan of horror but this looks really intriguing.
I... Don't know how to feel about this one yet 😬
Same same same same
"Let us create a map, that will guide us into the heart of darkness" 🤤 im so ready for this
Now this looks very intriguing just what we expected from the legendary master of body horror! Cronenberg still has it! Can't wait!👀
What the hell did I just watch... I'm simultaneously intrigued and terrified
Damn this looks like a hard watch… I can’t wait!
this looks SO GOOD GOD DAMN!
Definitely gonna watch it. Looks promising.

Literally, since the original "Crimes of the Future" from 1970 was his second film.
@Punishedplushv2 He shot the new "Crimes of the Future" in my country, Greece, and in specific, mainly in my city, Athens, in August and September 2020. @Punishedplushv2 His first feature film was "Stereo" of 1969, at 65 minutes.
Wow dude. This is going to be amazing to be able to see something like this from the brain and mind of this artist. To be able to be in a world with the tech and artistic ability to convey what they are thinking and wanting and sharing it together.
Can't wait to experience this film.
I cannot wait to see this.
I don't know what the plot is....
And I'm afraid to find out. Lol
You had me at Cronenberg.
We're getting TWO Cronenberg movies this year! One from David and the other from his son, Brandon (Possessor: Uncut, Antiviral).
I'm so excited for this movie
The king of the Body Horror movies master is back.
Never change, Cronenberg
I firmly believe this will be Cronenberg's magnum opus
Ears guy is like “What?”
I think this is the first time I have watched a trailer and know less about the movie lol. It beats having the whole thing spoilt
Cronenberg sabe como incomodar a la audiencia, me encanta.
Can’t wait!!
The master is back! 😱
WTF did I just watched
Viggo ? I am in!
Viggo Mortensen and Lea Seydoux?
Sign me up.
Should be worth a watch.
This reminds me of Pinhead and the Cenobites from Hellraisers.
This is some kind of body positivity, right?
You cracked the case. The movie clearly has no theme or plit éléments more complicated than that.

Hell yeah. Classic Cronenberg.
Brandon Cronenberg.. "Things are wierd and bleak"...His Dad says..."Hold my beer for a second, kid".
Superb 😁
Body horror: Check.
It's directed by David Cronenberg alright.
So a bunch of artsy people high on themselves. Well, it literally is cutting edge.
Am seeing this tonight. I'm bracing myself
My kind of movie
Tzimisce from vampire the masquerade big vibes
- What is this, Cronenberg Rick?
- It's the future, Cronenberg Morty!

Long live the new flesh.
I'm all over the place with this one, so I guess I'll watch it. My guts say don't do it, but my inner WTF is like don't deny yourself.
I didn't get any of that.
Will wait for the reviews.
The first trailer I saw for this made no sense at all; might have been a teaser. This trailer however is fascinating and intriguing.
I find it hard to believe that this is going to be in the theaters.. the normies will lose their minds if they accidentally wandered into this one.. LOL
Very Euphoric
The surgery tools look very influenced by the tools the one brother made in dead ringers. perhaps there will be some hidden tie in.
I see Lea Seydoux, i click
Viggo has aged to the point where I also thought it was Ed Harris playing the role tbh.
Wow, this looks great. Even crazier that David Cronenberg actually did the film "Crimes of the Future" back in 1970, and he's doing it again, but he said this one's completely different...not a remake or anything.
Looks like a great date movie.
Intresting with horror
I don’t know if I should watch it or never think of it again. Lil creepy.
oh my god 😳
Talk about Body Horror. 😮

I must be becoming incredibly desensitized to stuff like this... That was a "Red Band" trailer???
Aww this looks cute.
Finally Segs 2.
Bizarro pra caralho. Gostei =}

Classic Cronenberg here
Do you want Cenobites? Because that's how you get Cenobites.
feels weird like a Radiohead song except that this is a movie
don't know why that thumbnail reminds me of those blade runner characters
This film will ruin my whole day. I can't wait!!
I would live for this 👄🫀🧠🫁

Long live the new flesh
Boa tarde amigo tudo bem
"From the mind of David Cronenberg". I'm a bit concerned that you mean this literally.
I think Freddy Krueger is in there somewhere
lea seydoux is gorgeous.
ARAGORN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Literally what? Lollll. No idea what this movie is about from watching this trailer.
This movie is so hard to watch by yourself, literally..
eXistenZ meets up with Naked Lunch
I'm sorry.... WTF. My mind needs a minute to catch up to what it saw.
And the Oscar for best picture of the year, Crimes of the Future
👏🏿

Definitely up for this but not a huge fan of the look. Looks very plain and video-y outside the FX.
What do you think they'll find INSIDE it...outer space. Let us create him...that will guide us into the heart of darkness. Destroy what kills inside.
Like Dead Ringers on steroids.
