So in this world final vs Caudron, de Bruijn was anyway “the man” (without taking anything away from Caudron which in fact revenged on him a few years later in 1-Cushion Europeans finals of 2011 and 2017) Anyway in the 2000s de Bruijn won several 1-Cushion Europeans that I remember in 2005 , 2006 and 2007 consecutively. In 2007 he also won 1-Cushion World Cup (this match vs. Caudron). Also he won 1-Cushion Europeans 2001 , 2003 He dominated, really almost unbeatable for all that time.
